I have 64k wifi always on no cap for 250 rand a month (and btw my isp also blocks out some random sites eg. http://www.rainbownation.com/business/randwatch.asp I can see its there with google but I can't go there some times some sites are blocked and then later not blocked like once http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/ was blocked out and I couldn't get new wine had to compile my self) I can guess its about R6 to R8 for 1 usd so that makes it 41.667 to 31.25 a month for super slow internet. Like I have said it goes slower in the day round about 9am to 4/5pm when its going fast its reaches 7.5kbytes/sec and I play planeshift ok and join ok (just can't ever pvp  :( ) I used to have 56k dailup but was only allowed to go on the internet on weekend because I paid / minute and now at lest its perment only prob is when its slow its slower than my 56/k was.

I can actually play when it is that slow just not pvp/duel and not take on to strong npcs. I guess I will have to phone them about it...

My internet is REALLY slow during the day well form about 9am-4pm (gmt2+) and its so slow that I can't even join. On the login screen it most of the time says failure but when it successfully pings then I click join and then it says then server is off-line please go to the forum for more information... So I was wondering if there was a way to login in with out needing to ping the server? Any way even if i have to do it with paramters.... Just yesterday I tried loging in for a hour and 8 minutes  :'(

Is it just me or is the new client (0.3.13) realy crashing all the time...?
By the way where can i find out when the updater is working again, and why does ps a have a 16bit setting if  the cs doesn\'t support it?

Newbie Help (Start Here) / Something to work on

Can developers make that game-master can set mining/any skills just so that I can mine. The thing is that I am new and I can\'t mine, because I don\'t have any power points (because i just started) and I can\'t get any because the npc-server is down and I can\'t attack npcs.

So basicly i can\'t do anything :( and i just need 1 mining stat!

I downloaded PlaneShift_CBV0.3.012P-r2.i686.bin and installed it like this:

[root@diehumans games]# chmod +x PlaneShift_CBV0.3.012P-r2.i686.bin
[root@diehumans games]# ./PlaneShift_CBV0.3.012P-r2.i686.bin

Is this way right? After that I downloaded PlaneShift_CBV0.3.012P-r3.i686.bin and extracted the files. Now when I tried to update i get error:

[freewill@diehumans planeshift]$./updater
./updater.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypto.so.0.9.7: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

graigsmith: Where do you get the drivers? Is it mesa? Because I use linux fglrx-rpm. If i use mesa my 3d acceleration is super crap.

I installed plainsift 3.0.11 and when I tried to update it, it tells me that:

\"WARNING: New updater can\'t be fetched since your OS isn\'t yet supported for automatic updating. You should be able to fetch and install it manually either from the mainsite or from the forums.\"

Yet it looks like it is busy with the updates!

The updater also switched mirrors alot I think it\'s my 56k intenet :(

The updater stoped downloading when deathrealm was at 15% :(

It is realy taking long because of my 56/k and I am now downloading the most of the files from http://psmirror.u24.solone.net/ via opera it is going much faster (thank for the links at the form \"READ THIS if updater is taking long time!\" and the links in the updaterconfig.xml file. :)

My os: Fedora c4 (32bit) GNOME i don\'t know what version GNOME.

I would realy like it if there was a linux full/patch installer for 3.10.12 then I do not need to do all this but then again it would be nice if the updater worked better under lowbandworth connections. (i think that was why it froze at 15% at deathrealm) Then it\'ll be good when 3.0.13 comes out.
