Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Failed Safe Mode!

Since I was having no luck getting on the server in GL mode I tried the Safe mode.

When I do this mode the game is only on half  of my screen and its in black and white. So I guess I hafta use GL, too bad I still get the \"Server Dropped Us\" error.

Well.... I tried everything you all have stated above and I still get the Server Dropped Us. As I said just 2 days  ago I was able to get on without changing anything so I dunno...(Will wait wait for new IP)

I didnt see where to put compatability mode on 98/me ...?

I logged on fine yesterday, and now all of the sudden I get the Server dropped us error! is the server down right now?

I clicked on the link in the top post by the Admin, but it says page does not exist so... any info would be great thanks!

Heres the problem...I get in the world fine, I can see my character in 3rd Person, but I cant move, and when I click on the text bar to type, it takes FOREVER to get the cursor. then when I actually type, I dont see what im typing for a LONG time. Its Lag or somthing, but how can I fix this problem??

I got the same Lag problems as he has above, I cant even move really.. I guess Ill try rebooting and such, but we\'ll see
