Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / menu not showing

Ever since I logged off with my menu hidden, I can\'t find the arrows that reshow the menu.  I know what the arrow looks like so that is not an issue.
Right now it is updating so hopefully it will be fixed, but not sure how to call the menu if it does not.  Are there any ways to call the menu back without the arrows.
Thank you for any help.  I hope this is not a noob question.  I would show a screenshot, but it is updating right now.  I will try to get a screenshot if it is the same way after the update.

I would just be happy to have more stuff to explore in the death realm.  Have the libary do something other than books I can\'t read
I also would like to see more stuff in the dark area of the dr.  maybe stairs that go up.
The death idea would be neat if we go back to normal after we leave.
I just would like to see more things to do in planeshift anyway.

I know how to program.  I am a bit rusty because I took a break.   I know how to program, but I am having some difficulties compling planeshift code.  Guess I am a newbie at this too.  
 I found a guide on how to compile it with Visual studio .NET.    I won\'t have access to my visual studio .net cds till January.  I have Visual Studio 6, which is diffrent from the .net version.  I can understand not knowing how to use it.  Guess I have to find a guide for Visual studio 6 or wait till january when I have access to my visual studio .net

Is there any maps of planeshift or any of the towns?  I was just wondering if there were any maps.  it would make going around much eaiser.  thank you for any help
I did look at the planeshift website but did not see any maps right away.  I might have missed it.

The sever is down last time I checked, so the npc server is down too.  I think it would be down when the main server is, that would make sense.

I would like to know that too.  currently it is go to the nearest attackable monster and try to attack it.  It would be useful to know if we have a chance to attack monsters.
Probably should say something more useful here.  How about show status in the game.  Incase it goes up when you are playing
