Ok, but it's not just that they don't attack. The damage seems a bit strange too. I strike more damage to Ulbernauts than to rats (or any other NPC for that matter). But I'll try to do quests while it's not solved.

Edit: Or they fail to do any damage when they attack, normally a rogue would kick my a** lol

I've been playing the last 2 days on the new server, I don't know if this is suposed to be this way (since after all is a test server ) but NPC's are easy as hell to kill. I've killed some rogues, tefusangs, even 2 Ulbernaut (ULbernauts were surprisingly easy, I've add mor of a fight from rats).

The NPC's rarely attack me, and even more rarely hit me, except from a kikiriri in Ojaveda. Are the NPC's supposed to be acting this way?

Correction:

Nevis like many othrs I\'ve found recently just doesn\'t understand \"Hi\" or \"Hello\". But he will talk no more about the quest he and Nevis have made. But I\'m stil unable to talk to Moren to accomplish the Quest.

I\'ve been talking with the guards Moren Findel and Nevis revori and when talking to Nevis I\'ve received the \"Items can break friends\" quest. I tried to talk to moren about it he responds a few things but I couldn\'t finish the quest. After a few minutes of trying the server crashed I\'ve restarted the game and now Nevis doesn\'t seems to understand anything I say and Moren don\'t even respond to right clicks or conversation.

Is there a problem with that quest?

I\'ve had a similar problem with new caracter. With my normal character I didn\'t like the stamina because it would take very long to go down but it takes forever tocome back to 100%. A few days ago it was different it would be drained a lot quicker, but it would rise a lot faster too. Now is back to notmal, Was this an experiment?

After the last Update when I run.. My running animation is equal to my walking animation.. the character just moves faster. Are you working on the running animation?

That system will probably be abused.. but there could be made a few tries with the best ideas. Instead of NPC guards, we could have Human players that act like that in case of seeing abuse, and besides a society tends to level it selfs.. I\'m sure that if High level players see abuse by other high level players they will surely intervene, and we still have those specialized players that would be the guards, NPC or not. Once caught, the abusive player would have some consequences, have to pay a large amount of money, be denied the use of weapons until he pays or others. If he manages to escape after have abused the rulles (and I imagine that would be pretty, pretty hard), or a High a player that \"makes justice\" caughting lotts of those abusive players, well I guess a legend begins right? Of course we could have some zones were noobs (like me) could feel safe, but if I ever want to take a peek out there I\'ll feel safe unless someone break the law. Other places like arenas or faraway forests could have completely free will PvP, if you want to risk to do that hard quest go ahead.

Other thing are the monsters.. In many places there should be monster roaming for kiling players or at least, pursue you after they see you. For what I\'ve experienced you hav to pass pretty close from them to activate a reaction.

That\'s a good idea, to avoid that problem with grouping with a lower level player you could not make a aggro effect just fear. So if you have a High level player in a  zone, doesn\'t matter how much low level players are there, the weaker NPC would still run.. so if the High level player wants to kill it he will have to pursue it leaving the place. Probably before he came back there were already some NPC to kill in that area and low level players killing them.

The whole map verification would certainly be hard and take a lot of time from the developers. What it could be done it was allowing players to build buildings and then submit. I would be much easier to verify from \"hidden\" stuff.
Or you could recrute a team of players only to test those maps.

I\'m running PS on a 1.7ghz - 768 DDR - 6600GT on newly formated PC and I have the same problem my CPU usage boosts up to 100%.  Normally when games do this it slow down the game a bit, and working on windows like see the PS forums is a hard a slow job.

I have returned to the game after a few weeks without played.. but now when I talk to a NPC it will answer me only if I say \"hi\", \"bye\" or something that it doesn\'t understand.. if I say something like \"How are you\" it will answer \"response  to how you 0, 100\".

What seems to be the promblem? Is the npc server beeing updated?

have you tried to run the recover updater? I\'ve had a similar problem and it worked for me.

That would be a cool idea. perhaps you could put them a little translucid if it isn\'t to hard to do or much of an hardware sucker.
