7c00724a seems to be a sound related problem, because when i disabled sound, the system worked perfectly ...

i managed to load the world, entered it and walked around a bit ( my first in an MMORPG !)

however when I quit and exited, i got a different error ..

inst at 0x000431b2c not loaded from memory location 0x01d66fe4

thanks for any clues ...

No, I have not disabled sound .. do you think it would help ? If i were to disable it ?


Secondly, i have 256 MB RAM .. i had thought that this might impact performance .. but could it be the reason for the software not working at all ?

I have just downloaded the client, run the updater, created an account, created a character, uploaded it .. successfully .. and then tried to join the game ...

it showed \"loading world\" and when almost done .. there was an error ... which said

there was an error in loading instruction at address 7c00724a could not read memory location 0x1d14c000
.........................................................................

i uninstalled the system, and re-installed the whole package but on a different disk partition ... but this time did not run the updater ..

faced the same problem ... at the same point ... this time i took a dump file ..
 whose name is
Planeshift_Somu_Manekversion_Nov04_2005_Addr7C00724a.dmp

i am running Windows 2000 ver 5.0.2195 wit service pack 4 on an IBM ThinkPad with 256MB RAM and
