Please read the front page at http://www.planeshift3d.com before posting here. It says that the server is no longer available and they are waiting for the next client build before they start another one. So until then the game is unavailable.

Read the front page at http://www.planeshift3d.com the game is not functional right now. Nobody is quite sure when they are going to release a new version of it.

Remember it\'s all about suspension of disbelief. If the player oh my god that wouldn\'t happen in real life...well that\'s fine this is fantasy, but if something occurs that rips you out of the game and back into reality...that sucks. For example, predictability in AI, warping monsters, monsters that attack through walls, monsters that see through walls, monsters that can shoot you through hills around objects or cast around corners. This list could go on forever, and I think a lot of you know what game a lot of these examples of poor suspension come from.

Currently there is no client available since they are in between builds of the game. Even if she were able to download it right now she wouldn\'t be able to play since there is currently no server running any version of the software. So tell her to hang in there a few days and the new version will be up and running.

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Is the server down or am I flamebait

Has the server been down for the last few days, I can\'t login, and yes I have tried just about everything with regards to the server has dropped us for an unknown reason error. Is it just me or is everyone else also unable to reach the server. I don\'t have a problem pinging the server at ps.gamiix.com, but I can\'t load the page at ps.gamiix.com/test.php. I\'m running:
 Windows XP
 Athlon 2100+
 512megs of RAM
 Soundblaster Audigy
 MSI Geforce 4 4200
 shrug...I\'m clueless
 I\'m also running over AT&T Broadband so I\'m pretty
 sure that\'s not a problem. Let me know if anyone is
 haveing the same problem or if the server is indeed down, maybe we could get a webpage that says simply up or down somewhere here on the planeshift webpage.
