Linux Specific Issues /

mmh... coping the files from 0.3.0.12 helps (I can now join) and the updater does not destroy them (but I think does not really update them either).

The repository I got the files from is the one on laanx, since I have no other mirror in my updaterconfig.xml.

But many things are still wrong (arena is totally dark, menues look strange).

I\'m just downloading the 32-bit Linux installer and will try to get the art from it.

EDIT:

I just a:
wget http://laanx.fragnetics.com/updater_hidden/repository.zip
unzip repository.zip

From the file:
...
       
           
       
       
           
       
...

This seems to be corrupted and the cause of the problem.
Can anybody fix this?

Linux Specific Issues / Problem with art/world

Hi!

Since I\'m on AMD64/Mandrake I build the 0.3.0.13 from CVS.
But after updating the art my art/world directory looks like this:

All the small files only contain a sound.xml and I cannot join the game because of the following error:

planeshift.application.client:

Are the update repositories corrupted?
I already tried deleting all the files in art/world, but got the same ones again.

Updating again does not help :(
(I also tried deleting deathrealm.zip before updating....

The output of the updater command now is:

I wonder if \"Warning: Couldn\'t find module \'other_os\' in registry.\" might be the reason for this.

Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / Unable to move

When I log into the game I get spawned anywhere in the death realm and fall to the ground. There I can walk/move around but am unable to find out.

After using /unstuck three or four times I end up at the place, where your normally(?) get respawned after beeing killed.
But then I cannot move. I can only look around and see other people moving out :(

When creating a new character I\'m spawned somewhere in the air and die falling to the ground.

Sometimes I do not fall but I am again unable to move and I am placed in impossible places:

Might this be a AMD64 problem? Linux problem? I build the newest sources myself and just updated the artwork.

When running the updater I get the following output:

CRITICAL ERROR: Ran out of mirrors! Game cannot be updated.


Can anybody tell me why this is happening (I was still able to update yesterday)?

I build planeshift from source using the Easy-PlaneShift script. latform is Mandriva Linux 2006 / AMD64.
