Have you got a virus scanner? Norton picks up most viruses, spyware, trojans, etc.

It could be a virus on your system.

Other than that formatting your hardrives doesn\'t sound like a bad idea

I have just downloaded the PlaneShift client. The server fails when i try to run the game. The updater runs and can\'t connect to any of the mirrors. This is what the updater reads:

Downloading registry...
failed to connect to mir4!
trying mirror mir1...
trying mirror mir2...
trying mirror mir3...


After a few seconds the updater closes automatically.

I don\'t know whats wrong but i have had Planeshift before and it has run fine. I have recently formatted my laptop, therefore i had to re-download and install the client.

Please help!
