Ever since the big change a couple weeks ago (the weapons wipe), I am unable to fight any npc.

It happened right after the change, every time I walk up to a npc and initiate a fight, it says \"You are too far away to attack\" and the NPC goes wandering off into a wall and then eventually dissapears.

At the time, I figured it must be a bug introduced, and would get cleared up, so I stayed away a week or so.

I just hopped on today, and the exact thing is happening... no one else seems to have any issues.. an the npc i start fighting is unable to hit me either....

p.s. I did try to search the forum, it kept giving unique contraint errors too...

I am having the exact same results for the ring quest - he seems to take the crystals, tells me twice the he is casting the spell and the ring is now mine, but when i look in my inventory, I see my crystals and no ring.

And it does also say in the red text that he does not need that item.

I hope someone has posted it to the bug tracker. ... if so please let us know .

.. not sure if it helps, but i did notice after logging off then on, it let you pick up a few more things before it told you you couldn\'t.

Not since this post though, I am looting away to see if it happens. I\'ll let you know.

-- EDIT - It is still happening. I am currently 106/130 weight, and it will not let me pick up a 6 weight item :(

This is what happened to me too, as I mentioned in my earlier post, i was able to recover my dropped items by logging off and back on.

I was then able to pick up a few more items than before, but then was told I could not carry anymore... but still well under my weight max.

I did drop all my items /weapons/ armour and relog in, but I was skeptical as I have never carried/used a container as mentioned above.

hmm, perhaps I am jsut confused about the numbers now...

I used to go by the weight xxx/xxx values.

Now i see below them, a capacity value.

After i unloaded all my stuff, the capacity was zero.

As I added items back in, the weight value went up according to the weight of the items... but the capacity value grew slightly larger.

Right now my weight reads: 29.00/130.50
but a off color capacity value reads 52.00

I dont remember seeing this capacity value before...

I am seeing the same thing. I am well under capacity, but it stops letting me pick items up.

I made the mistake of grabbing a block of items from my inventory, and tried to move them to another slot. It would not let me and dropped them.

I logged off and back on, and was able to pick them back up.

I am also seeing the garbled names when i pick items up from the ground.

... i had been for the last week drawing trepors to me using my magic missile. Now when it hits them, they run off in a random direction.

Hi all. I had been having problems in combat where often, if the attacker approached me automatically, and I had them already targeted, I could not hit them at all until i cleared them as my target, and re-targeted.

It happened over and over to me, costing me several trips to the death realm.

This shortcut macro seems to have solved my problem. I just click it several times as the monster get to me, and it works great:

/target clear
/target next nearest npc
/attack

Anyway, it works so well for me I figured I\'d share.
