General Discussion / Re: You Might Be An Oldbie If...
« on: December 11, 2009, 08:03:14 pm »
You might be an oldbie if you still rage whenever someone mentions The Cabal.
You might be an oldbie if you tie your sword to your belt with a Cyl.
You might be an oldbie if you need more than three hands to count the husbands of Agara.
You might be an oldbie if you got your Galkards from a website.
You might be an oldbie if you remember the labyrinth room with a dead end and three grates.
You might be an oldbie if you remember that Kada-El's tavern had a website.
You might be an oldbie if this thread made you laugh out loud, because most of them start with Crystal Blue. ;)
You might be an oldbie if ... /spawn

Seriously, this thread made my day. I don't even consider myself an oldbie, and yet most of the stuff in this thread came -after- my time in PlaneShift; I still have logs on my other computer that has one of my few encounters with Kada-El, before she disappeared - I never did find out what happened to her. No one could answer me back then.

I logged on the other day to find one green name on my friend's list - Phinehas. Turns out, he was just stopping by, too, and it was chance we ran into each other. The rest of my friend's list was red, and quite long - some names on there I don't even think migrated over to CB, but for some reason are on there.

I still have a few Waybread in my inventory. I give them out on occasion. I also still have a few mushrooms - though I think they were replaced with the newer ones. Several of my weapons were actually deleted, due to being glitched. I absolutely loved collecting rare items. Only one rare item did I have my eyes on that I never retrieved - that was the ring of the oldbie. I gave all my Tria away before migration, so I never received this item.

Oh, and hello, all! Long time no see. :]

[Jesus was crucified under a sign that said he was the king of jews, though I can't find where Jesus himself is recorded saying it, you might want to read John 19:18-22 for some interesting things about it.

But let's not turn this into a religious discussion, this should be kept on-topic. :)

*edit as of 11-10-06; 5:43PM GMT-6*
I am quite off topic. I shall fix the situation, since I was going to have something IC here anyway, just had to leave before I could write it. ^^; ]

IC as Xeraans Shekiath.

"I do not doubt what he has said, this Kran." A voice shouted out near the edge of the crowd. There stood a tan and white enkidukai, garbed in a hunter's leather clothing. Strung over his small shoulders was a longbow. A few people look his way, questioning his sudden and full faith in the one who recently claimed to be the 'son' of a god.
"Is it not written in the books of lore, that the beings known as Kran were born of the solid ground, by the God Talad?" he takes off his bow, and relaxes a bit. "If you do not believe me, go to the libraries and read yourself!

"But of course, that is if you believe in Gods in the first place..."

[OOC: This is, of course, assuming that -some- version of the history is in our history books.. as people go around claiming they know how far Yliakum is under the ground.]

I used to just find a random image or comic, set as background, centered it, and then never even bothered to sort or arrange icons to show it off. Didn't care a single thought about my background.. until now. I've gone through three backgrounds and two icon-sets, even so much as deleting icons and shortcuts I frequently use because they were in the way. x.x

Someone help me!

...I'm surprised they didn't just use the /echo command, instead of spending the minutes editing.. :)
I've used and abused that command so often. :D

More on-topic: Er.. I can't think of anything else to add. Oh well.

I looked at the left-side of the tail, and the shading made it look just fine, to me. But went back and checked the right side, and it just seems the placement of the..spines..spiny..things are off. :) Also, I retract my statement about the ear, I see now that it is also a spiny..thing. While I don't know much about dragon/reptile anatomy - or any anatomy at all, really - I assume that the spines are supposed to be right over the actual spine of the dragon? And in that case, since the tail is an extrension of the spine, it just curves over too soon.

Whenthe tail comes into sight from around the rock, they shouldn't be on the top or front yet, but on the back-side fo the tail, then as it comes around to the front of the rock, the spines would be clearly visable. Being how big the.. spiny things are, they probably would be slightly visable just above the tail, when it comes around?

Err, if you can make sense of any of that. Maybe this'll explain what I'm talking about more?

Though, I'd wait until an actual artist got here first. XD
Still, lovely art! I can't believe I missed this thread for so long.

O.o I regret not having checked this before now. Wow. Taaaaaalent. :>

(Wanting to come up with something atleast to be considered constructive criticism, I looked the picture over a few times.. I can't really see anything wrong, besides the left(his left) talon. Just looks a little odd. And the far ear. But that might just be because I ate it. )

In-Game Roleplay Events / [RP - The Royal House of Purrty - UPDATES]
« on: October 13, 2006, 05:45:18 am »
[Please read here for more information.

Sorry if this isn't the place for it, it's where I think I was told to put it. :)
If any problems, PM me.]

Lolitra and Janner arrive infront of a beautiful wooden door, with the Royal Crest of Purrty on it. The house itself seems to stand out from all the other buildings around it, and certainly deserves the title of 'Royal'. Lolitra slides infront of the door, and pulls out an ornate key, and unlocks the door. They step into the door, and head into the lobby, Twerp's feet dragging behind them as he is carried. Lolitra points to a sofa, "On there .." and with the flick of a finger, Twerp is lowered onto the sofa by Janner.
"Mel, some of your soup, for someone who's been poisoned."
A maid steps out of the kitchen, and looks at Lolitra. "Ma'am?"
"Not for me, this man Twerp." she says with a snap in her voice, then takes off her cloak and hangs it on a rack. She nods examining her dress for any marks.
Melinya rummages about in the kitchen, "What poison, ma'am?"
"Cyanide." Lolitra looks at Janner, after finding no marks, she inquires "Would you care for a glass of wine?" she continues about, and mutters a barely audable word, and the door slams shut seemingly magically.
"No thank you, my lady." he looks, then adds politely "Water would be nice, please, my lady."
Lolitra pours a glass of wine for herself, having it already in her paws, "for the nerves.." she says, then heads int othe kitchen with a nod.
"How are we doing, Mel?"
Melinya nods into an almost half-bow, "I have it for you, Ma'am.."

Lolitra returns into the lobby with a small bowl of soup, and a glass of water. She hands the water to Janner, and then sits by Twerp. "Thank you my lady." Janner says, followed by Lolitra to Twerp, "Eat.."
She starts to gently tip the bowl at Twerp's lips, to which Twerp coughs and sputters at the warm liquid running down his throat.
"I know it is not the most palatable of soups.. but it is good against cyanide." she gives a nod to Melinya, who was standing by the door.
"Janner, do you know a Loreena?"
"No, my lady."
Lolitra turns back to look at Donothan, "Is Twerp your real name, sir? The hesitation you gave with your name would indicate you lied to me.."
To this, Twerp only moved about a bit, and scrunched his face, with eyes still shut. Lolitra fed Twerp a little more soup, which Twerp takes a little better, but still coughs.
"I wish Nilaya were nearby.. she could heal him in no time." she said, "Or even the prayers of Raouldir could.. but they are all so far away." She looks back at Janner. "Do you recognize this Menki? Who the outlaws seem keen to send to the land of death?"
"No, my lady."
She feeds Donothan a little more soup, and nods. "That should work."
Melinya places a blanket over Donothan, and looks to Lolitra. "He'll sweat awfully, ma'am.." to which Lolitra nodded. Twerp couldn't do anything but attempt to mutter out a word, presumably 'sleep,' thoug he did not manage. "Sl... sle.."
Lolitra sighed, and a knock came at the door.

Lolitra looked up, "Janner, there is a spy-hatch on the door.. see who that is, please?"
Janner walked up to the door, and peered out. "It's Granden my lady."
"You know him?"
"Only seen him once, my lady."
"See what he wants." she called out.
Janner opened the door, and stuck his head out. "Hello sir, can I help you?"
Granden offered his hand to Janner. "Aye there, I'eared an assassin struck, may I see the victum? I think I can help..."
Lolitra looked up from Twerp. "How did he know..?"
Janner stuck his head back out, "How did you hear of this, sir?"
Granden replied quickly "I'm a local villager, I saw you carrying him here, and heard about it near Harny's. It might not be too late."
Lolitra looked at Janner, and nodded "Calmly let him in..."

Janner opened the door the rest of the way, letting the sir in. Granden bowed before the group, and looked to Twerp. "I need to see the wound, please."
Lolitra quickly stated "It was cyanide laced." and glanced down at all the alchemist's potions. "How do I know you are not here to finish the job?"
"I am unarmed lady, I am a simple villager."
Lolitra tilted her head, "Simple..?
"This is Azural, a planr from Oja, it will stop the infection. Then I will begin work on the cyanide..." Melinya nodded at the statement, confirming he atleast knew his plants. "Aye, I am a alchemist.. I work around here, I have a reputation, miss.."
Lolitra looked to Melinya, then to Granden, who had already started to work on the wound, but Lolitra stopped him. "No."
"No?" Granden asked, curious.

"Before you do so.. in the glass please, a drop."
"Ah, yes, very well." the dwarf nodded, figuring this was probably some chemistry test. He had done such things often.
Lolitra smiled as Granden poured a bit into the glass, but careful not too pour so much he had little left for the wound.
"I mix my ingrediants with anti-oxydents, so it's also good for the healing process."
Lolitra nodded at this, then pushed the glass towards Granden.
"Now drink it." she said sternly.

Granden shrugged, taking the glass, "Bottoms up." he says, then downs the small amount in a large gulp.
"I must ask, why you had me do that."
"If it was poison, you would have been reluctant to drink it." she waits a moment. "Now you may proceed."
"Alrighty," Granden nodded, and started to drip the potion over the wound."This'll sting a bit, lad." Twerp cringed and tried to move away from it, but didn't get far. The potion started bubbling on the wound, causing a stinging pain to Twerp. "But it'll fight off the infection, now.. for the cyanide..."

Lolitra had sat herself in a refined way, showing her royal heritage. "Thank you, Janner, for coming so quickly to my aid."
Janner nodded, "Least I can do, my lady."
Granden had at this time pulled out of his sack a small cloth, and a vile of green fluid. He turned it upside town over the cloth, getting part of it wet, and dabbed it over the wound carefully. Donothan was still cringing from the previous potion, so he did not feel much, or do anything but squeeze tightly onto the edge of the sofa.
"What I'm doing now will both heal the wound, and cause the spreading of the cyanide to halt..." Granden stopped for a moment, twiddling with his curly mustache while waiting for the fluids to start their work.
"I'll hold you to that," Lolitra looked at Granden. "Or I will have Unar breathing down your neck." she said sternly.
Granden replied humbly. "Don't worry, miss, I am only here for the boy's health.. please, respect that... You can ask Jayose or Levrus, I am close friends with both."
Lolitra nods, "Excuse my caution, but I am not in the habbit of allowing those who are in my care to die."
"Glad to hear that, miss." Granden smiled, and Lolitra quirked an eyebrow at being called 'Miss.'

"Soak it in water, you'll be fine ol' boy." Janner smiled at Granden's work. "He's going to be alright." said Granden.
Granden smiled to everyone, and Janner spoke. "You have our thanks, sir."
"Like I said, soak it in water, and keep his fluids up..."
Lolitra smiled, and released a little tension. "What do I owe you for your time, Granden?"
Granden waves a and down at Lolitra. "Bah, you owe me nothin'.. I'm just honoured to have stepped foot in this lavashing home of yours, it makes my cottage look like a dump.. not that it isn't.. but still I am glad I could help."
Janner stepped forward, "Allow me." he held a circle out for Granden.
Granden blinked, "Really, I need no payment... I am just glad I could help."
But Janner insisted; "A good deed deserves a reward."
"Really, nothing is nessesary, but I must be on my way soon."

Just as he finished the sentence, Melinya stepped out with tea and cake, offering them around. Granden politely declined, but Janner helped himself to a cup of tea. Lolitra nodded, and Melinya left back for the kitchen, soon returning with a paper parcel of expesive cakes and tarts, handing it to Granden.
Granden nods in thanks, "My nephew, I promised him that I'd make a clacker soup for him today. So I must leave shortly.. it is not often we have such dinners."
Lolitra stood and walked over to Granden, extending her paw to shake Granden's hand, "thank you, Granden."
Granden used one of his hands to pat one of his many pockets, while the other shook Lolitra's hand. "Ah, it is my pleasure," he seems to find something in one of his pockets. He pulls out an ordinary house key. "I must be off. G'day to you all, and do take care of that wound!" Lolitra nodded, and Melinya showed Granden to the door.

"Farewell, sir, and thank you." Janner nodded, and Lolitra turned back to Twerp once again, who at that moment relaxed his grip, and fell into a deep sleep.

In-Game Roleplay Events / [RP] The 'assassination' of a troubled child.
« on: October 13, 2006, 05:40:56 am »
It was about mid-day, as a young child-like enkidukai slumped hismelf against a tree near Harnquist's, grumbling to himself. He had spent the last week looking for something, or someone, or even where this something or someone could have been- but with no luck. And it was frustrating him greatly.
He had only been resting for a moment, when a small commotion broke out nearby.
"Shut up! I am not! Shut up! You can also shut up, too, Jekkar!"

The kit, usually called Twerp, had gotten up and stepped over to see what was going on, but before he could even make anything out, a mad enkidukai was stomping away in a hurry. "Can't even say hello to anyone! Jeez.."
Which in turn had a few more people stepping away, leaving Twerp infront of a small group of fenki's.
"Err.." he stood there for a while, dumbstruck, as one of the four fenki fiddled with her cloak. "Now, what would be funny, is to see them with that flu.." the second, dressed in a royal garb, said, as  yet a third giggled at the remark. "I bet they are all skin and bones, no muscle, just ponced up fur.." she finished with a grin, and ran a paw through her mane.
Twerp was still standing there, looking as dumb and clueless as ever, when the first one came to speak. "Can we help you sir?" As she said this, the other three laid their eyes on Twerp, curious.

"Erm..  I don't think..? I just came over with the crowd, when.. that happened."
"What happened?" the second fenki asked.
"Err.. that guy just now, and those two over there!" he pointed toward two menki sitting down not too far away, who were apparently teasing the enkidukai that was leaving when he arrived. The first fenki growled jokingly at the two sitting.
"Do not worry yourself about it, dear." the fourth fenki finally spoke, smiling at Twerp, while the second spoke a little less loudly; "Oh, the jester-duo."
The first couldn't help but laugh again.

The kit finally eased a smile, and started to turn away, when he remembered. "Oh! There might be a way you can help me--"
They all looked at him, questioning what that was, when Twerp took a deep breath before speaking.
"I've been looking for something for quite some time, heard about it when I was here months and month ago, before I left.. err.. not sure if it still exists.."
They all questioned again as he took another breath.
"I.. overheard two small kits talking about a place where they could go for protection..? A house, I think it was.. but whenever I ask about it, people don't know or just shake their heads and walk away.. noone's been much of a help."
"What was the name of this 'House'?" the second asked, as a few exchanged winks and smiles.
Twerp looked up in thought, "A.. it was two small kits, one was telling the other about a.. Royal house? I just overheard.."
The dirst nodded slightly, "Oh..."
"I did have someone tell me that the house was no more, but he was strange..." About at this time, the second fenki was adjusting her cloak to show the Royal Crest of Purrty - This was Lolitra Purrty, head of the house that he was speaking about, but Twerp knew nothing of it, and so remained oblivious.
"Any of you heard of anything like that?"
"Only my House.." Lolitra shrugged.
"Your house..?"
Lolitra nodded again as the fourth Enkidukai, known as Kiraki, chuckled.
"Yes, my house."

Twerp didn't know what to say next, or if he did, he didn't know whether to say it now, or wait. "Err, this is completely your house? You.. offer protection to people?" he asked, making sure he had the right house.
The third fenki, named Miaua, stood there looking forward. And just for the record, the first fenki's name was Hassadria.
"Do you need protection?" Lolitra asked, politely.
At this Donothan looked around a bit, then shook his head. "Can I talk to you.. less publicly?"
Lolitra was struggling not to laugh at the two menki sitting in the background, but nodded and started for a bench just in the distance- at which, Twerp followed.

Upon reaching the bench shortly, Lolitra took a seat, and Twerp just stood there, not wanting to sit down.
Lolitra looked at Twerp. "What's the problem?"
Twerp looked around once more, and talks in an almost whisper, afraid of who might hear. "..it's my sister, mostly."
The lady Lolitra had raised a brow with curiosity, and Twerp overly conscious of how he sounded, quickly corrected himself. "Not a problem, I mean- I'm looking for her."
Lolitra continue'd her interest. "Who is she? And more to the point, who are you?" she smiled warmly.
"Erm, my name's Twerp.. my sister's Loreena. I don't want to go into family history or anything, but we've been running for a long time, from a clan of Enkidukai.. and recently, she went missing. First I thought they had taken her, but then, I figured she found a place to stay?" Lolitra blinked. "I overheard the House from my sister, and some scruffy lookin' girl that I think works at the blacksmith now."
Lolitra was in thought over the name as Twerp finished. "Loreena.." she looked up, "Oh?"
Twerp nodded.
"I am sorry, I am unable to help you on this one... I do not know a Loreena.. yet."
"There's noone in your house by that name? Or maybe she might be using a different name..!" he quickly shouted, franticly.
"If there is, I will let them know of your concern, Twerp wasn't it?"
Twerp nodded, almost reluctantly.
"Do you have any way of being contacted?"
"..no, not really- ..Not really stayin' anywere.. been ran out of the tavern several times.. which has been annoying with the recent rains an' all."
"Oh.. do you know who the two fenki's were?" She asked, but Donothan looked a bit confused. "Describe them.."
"The two I overheard about your House?"
Lolitra nodded, and Twerp continue'd. "Well, one was actually my sister, before she went mising. Months ago. The other, I don't know her name, but I'm sure she works at the smithy now."

Lolitra seemed to be looking past Twerp now, at someone behind him. "Who else is interested in this fenki..?" She nodded to behind Twerp, and he turned around, but didn't see anyone, so he continued.
"Only people I know are the bad ones, a clan of Enkidukai from Sarpendil. They want both of us.."
Lolitra gestures towards a pillar next to a large tower just behind them, and says under her breath "He went there, but did not come out.. so he must still be there."
Donothan looked at the tower, and didn't bother to lower his voice. "You sure there's someone there..?"
Lolitra nodded, "Quite sure."
If it were possible, Twerp almost could hear the clinching of teeth, but maybe that was just his own?
"You! If you're behind there, come out!" he shouted out, without thinking. And then he noticed that Lolitra had already walked up, just beside the tower. Twerp didn't have much time to feel stupid, but ran over beside her.

Just as Twerp arrived, an enkidukai ran off, just as Lolitra started to say something.
"If you lean much further into the wal-" she shrugged as the menki left.
"..Did you know him?"
Lolitra looked at Twerp. "No.. do you?"
Twerp just shook his head, looking down. "..great. Must've been one of them!"
They both walked around to the other side of the tower, incase they might be able to catch sight of him far away, but no such luck. They were still looking about for him, as Lolitra's ears caught sound of a dagger being drawn behind them. She turned, and growled, as the now known assassin thrusted a dagger into Twerp's back.
"Gack-!" Twerp jumped forward, grabbing his back, and the assassin pulled another dagger for protection and fled. Twerp quickly hit the ground, the dagger had been laced with a powerful and fast-acting poison- cyanide. Lolitra quickly started casting healing spells, and placed her paws on Twerp. She continue'd to try to heal, as she reached for a potion and handed it to Twerp. "Drink this!"
"What is it?" Twerp asked, he had not thought that he would be dead in a few moments.
"It's good for you! I can only heal you from the outside, that will heal from within. Drink!"

Twerp was feeling very woozy and light-headed, as he popped the cork and began to drink- but it wasn't a second later he hit the ground completely, the rest of the potion spilling onto the floor. Lolitra continue'd to clean the wound and heal, "Bloody assassins." she looked over at a fenki across the way, "Warrior, can you help?" and went back to healing, as Twerp had almost stopped breathing. She looked back at the fenki again, who now was nowhere to be found. "Darn it, is no one caring?" she summoned her pet, and handed it a note, then sent it off.

Lolitra pulls out a few leaves, and pushes them into Twerp's mouth. "Chew. Gods I hope this is the right stuff."
Just then, a tall man showed up, with another potion and handed it down to Lolitra. Lolitra looked up, "Janner! He was stabbed in the back, a poisoned dagger." She opened Twerp's mouth and took out the half-chewed leaves, and began to pour the potion into his mouth, but right at this moment, the assassin returned.
"Die Veniteus!" he threw a dagger aimed at Twerp's neck, which pierced right next to, slicing into not only his leather armor, but into the chain of a necklace he was wearing at the time. From the sudden impact of the dagger, and the potion giving slight life to the body, he opens his eyes one last time, then flops completely lifeless on his back.
"It's him!" Lolitra screamed, as Janner tried to confront the menki. "Hold, sir!" and Lolitra leaped to her feet to join him, brandishing her two swords.

Perched on the assassin's shoulder now was a Carckaras, which glared at Janner just before taking flight towards him. Janner quickly draws his swords to fend it off, while Lolitra attacks the assassin directly- lunging her swords at his side and the back of his head. The assassin was able to dodge only one of the attacks, taking the lesser blow to the side, but it is still quite a blow. He bends down in pain, and tries to say one last thing. "Grah.. m-my work is done.." he says, just as Lolitra delivers a swift kick to his now-lowered head. This sends him falling backwards, his Carckaras joining him after taking a beating from Janner. Lolitra casts a fireball, and the assassin's armor is incenerated, but the assassin seems to not mind this at all.
The assassin sputters out, "Grr... *cough*... its too late... *cough* for your friend... Ha...ha-ha *cough* hehe..." and just after, Lolitra lunges on him one last time- giving him a large slive across his neck before he is able to kick Lolitra off - which she lands gracefully in a flip. The assassin's trained carckaras flies away, as he mutters his last words.. "Y-you.... have lost him...." he releases one last cough, before meeting his demise.

Janner puts his swords away, and wipes the blood trickling down his neck, while Lolitra turns to Twerp. She lays her hand on him, and noticing he's not breathing anymore, she swears. Acting quickly, she starts to give him mouth-to-mouth, while Janner, after healing his own wounds, starts to heal the lifeless kit on the ground.
"Keep casting heal on him..!" she says between her breaths to him, and her pumping his chest. "I will noy let him go.."
Just at the last pump, and necklace fell to the ground from about his neck[*], and Janner attempted heal on Twerp again, as Lolitra cut a small insition in his wound, and pours antidote over his wound. She pumps his chest one more time before lifting her paw to build a static charge through magic, she delivers two charges, one shortly after the other onto the small kit, to which the kit released a small groan- but he still wasn't breathing.
So she returned to mouth-to-mouth. "Come on, don't give in.." she looked up to Janner, to which Janner nods that he is fine, then Lolitra continue's to frantically revive Twerp.
Twerp's hand slowly moved on it's own accord to reach about his neck, though noone noticed, he was grasping for something, and not finding it. Janner summoned all of his will and power into one last great heal spell, draining all of Janner's energy, he sat down, and finally, Twerp showed a little sign of life - he released a long sigh of breath, and returned to breathing almost normally.

"I think that almost-smelling stuff was Cyanide," says Lolitra, as she gives Donothan the last bit of antidote.
"Yes, I agree my lady."
She looks at Janner, "Are you okay?"
"Just a bit weak, my lady."
Lolitra rubs her stomach. "He had quite a kick, that ruffian."
"It took more blood from me that I thought.." said Janner, to which Lolitra pulled out a healing potion, and tossed it to him. Janner caught the potion, and pulled the stopper to drink. "Thank you, my lady." but Lolitra had already turned her attention back to the kit.
"Can you hear me?" she looked down at Twerp, who wiggles his hand slightly in another grasping motion.
"We must get him to my house. Plantimor has refreshed the wards..." she struggles to lift Twerp, and Janner stood up to help, as though he was fully recovered.

They carried Twerp all the way to the House of Purrty.

[Continue'd in the House of Purrty thread.]

[* This item was still on the ground. It wasn't an actual item in-game, per-se, but it was to be played as if someone had picked it up. If your character passes it, and decides to pick it up, post here the IC action of it. The description of it is as follows:
A simple silver chain seems to be laying on the ground, broken, it's clasp still hooked onto the other end. The chain has a small charm on it in the shape of a simple dove. It doesn't seem to be worth much value, but it does seem to have a sentimental, almost magical feeling of value about it.

So.... elitist guilds are non RP and unrealistic?

I didn't say that, I was just giving the reasons that, if memory serves me correctly, Acraig said when the system was put in place. And it was in response to Karyuu's post, not really directed at anything else. And the "Elitist" I was reffering to weren't probably what you were thinking about. I was reffering to the guilds which had only a few small members (four, five) and weren't really a "Guild" at all, and more like an everlasting party, or group. (Some cases only to later on add a backstory, ("These four people were chosen by the <so-and-so> to bound and destroy <this-and-that>" so that they could keep their group or party for later, never actually accepting members, or doing anything guild-like at all, really.)

But alas, I should say my memory is bad, opinions are worse, and who am I to say at all what should be done with what? That's up to the player's creativity.

If memory serves me correct, then the reason why we have the system we have right now was because it was a temporary fix for all the nonsensical guilds, and "Elitest" guilds, have only a few members, and to keep new people from joining, and making a guild without any thought at all, causing many guilds of the same type, and many guilds in general that weren't going anywhere. As I said, I think it was a temporary fix until a better system like that one was implemented. :)

... ...or just being an annoying baffoon... ... ...You're not evil, you're just annoying... ...
Don;t assume there are no masterminds or leaders of big armies waiting to be revealed.

Sorry to run off topic a bit here, but I just wanted to add a bit of nostalgia for older members. And a warning to newer ones.
Just two words struck fear into all who heard them, and I shall speak them now, and let others handle the rest. (Muahahahaha)

The Cabal.

Lets just hope those that don't have a plan for their stupidity don't join together to form another one. ;)
