Newbie Help (Start Here) / Heya, couple of questions while d/l the client.

heya, newbie here 
I\'m downloading the game now, and i was just wondering what makes this game good?
I\'ve played many mmorpgs and they are either too repetitive or people dont speak very much. i dont mind repetitiveness as much, but mainly was just wondering if theres a good sense of community in the game?
also what game(s) would you compair it to? so i can get an idea of what its like.
I used to play Diablo 2 for a long time, and then moved onto the FPS scene(CoD), GW and then onto WoW but i dont wanna pay an ongoing fee as my pockets aint big enough
hopefully i\'ll like this game
