Hi everyone,
I have downloaded the new client (15) an attempted to install it.  I received an error "could not extract file" for mainly the DLL files as well as the PSclient.exe itself.  If the client didn't install why does the program start and connect to the server?  I read several threads one of them was exactly the same problem I am having but the thread was locked, that's why I placed a new thread. 

Also I downloaded the Bit torrent client and installed in the same directory as the first, so I didn't notice the file was not installing some DLL's.  Then I had problems and figured on a clean install, so I uninstalled everything and attempted to re-install and it came up with the DLL's not being extracted, so I hit "Ignore" it was a long list of DLL's.  I then downloaded what I hoped was a clean version again using the regular mirror instead, again uninstalled and attempted to use the new "fresh download"  I encountered the exact same problem,  I use the MDS to try to verify the file but it didn't work either, won't tell me if the file is good or bad.  I am at a loss here is there a PAR2 set that might help me out?  I saw in a previous post it was done for 14b. I also did a reboot after each install/uninstall.

ok I managed to get a clean install, the file wasnt corrupt.  It seems even though all versions and anything I could find had been deleted when I checked in processes the pcclient never shut down, still can't figue out how it let me delete but never ended it.....  I killed it and everything went according to how life meant it to be......now if I could only get out of the areana I could actually be a semi happy person....but thats for the cab service thread.......
