Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Link to the newest Linux version?

I downloaded the Linux client yesterday from the main page. It is already telling me it isn\'t up to date. I tried the updater but it didn\'t work. So then I followed a link on this forum but it only had a Windows version. Any other links?
