Actually, as the topics that you read say, you do wait even though it says it isn\'t responding. Just because it isn\'t sending a reply to windows doesn\'t mean that it stopped working.

Disable any Download Accelerators such as \"Download accelerator\", \"Getright\" and \"Gozilla\" you may be using.
Disable any REFERER-blocker such as AdSubstract.
DO NOT RIGHT CLICK and choose \"save target as\".
Disable security programs such as \"Norton Internet security\".
I see that on the link for the dll posted on this thread... and the link for the file download is :

So, basically, when you try to use something like getright, it tries to just download the download.pl file, instead of taking the instuctions from it which points to the file. They do this so that people won\'t leach their file downloads on their own page (I think).

If you got the dll from somewhere else, then it might be an older version of the dll that doesn\'t support that function?

Really you shouldn\'t worry about the uninstaller removing the dll file anyway. Because chances are you will eventually need it for something else anyway. Not like they take up any significant amount of hard drive space.

You don\'t register first anywhere, all you have to do is upload the character to try the game out. Since you said you are having problems uploading, you might want to check out the bug report section of the forums. You should be able to find the answer to your problem there.

This sounds like wonderful advice, if you are too ignorant to read the forums and find the problem, just format your computer. I\'m sure that will be much more simple than reading the answer which has been posted somewhere on here...
