Wish list / Re: qt4 integration
« on: March 30, 2007, 07:04:35 pm »
I had KDE 4.... I'm back on Gnome

I feel at home in GTK, I'm not that keen on QT.

I think it should be as it is, there is no reason to change it, QT is too overloaded, its coming close to the .net stuff with too many library's that aren't used.

Jay
How can you have KDE 4 when it is not released ?
Qt 4 is a great toolkit, with integration for gnome. And a Qt updater is far better than the current (sometimes buggy because of opengl or whatever) updater.
Because an updater isn't the game. You just want to have an updater working and easily maintainable. Qt 4 is a good solution.

GTK doesn't work well on windows and macos, _UNLIKE_ Qt4

Ok

To put a title for pkers is okay, but safe zone is safe zone. No fight there.
I think that everybody should know that this players is a pk, and be carreful in unsafe zone.

Ok

Ok

A good pvp system :
 - Persistant ??
 - Allow mass pvp and optimised grp vs grp pvp
 - Disable overpowered stuff, skill is more important.
 - Quick ( don't be looking for a fight for 1 hour )

Faction is good for pvp, but you need at least 3 factions, like in daoc.

But a full guild vs guild should be fun too :-)
