Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Re: currupt patch and the updater wont work

Hi,
Just to add another step. I had 3 files in use, which would not overwrite and it was because Updater was still running in the background even though I closed the updater. I had to go into Task Manager and look for Updater.exe in the process tab and kill the process.
Then I extracted the zip again and all files overwrote. Now everything is working.

I read Talads post above and downloaded the file. I then extracted it to my PlaneShift Crystal Blue folder in Program files (where I installed PlaneShift too) and overwrote anything it asked me too everything is now up to date. I didn't re-run the updater after I extracted the files I just ran the game.
