Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Character has gone missing!

So anyway the whole game jst stopped working so i downloaded the new patch and its loaded up fine with one small problem. My character has jst vanished and the only way i can get on now is if i make a new character. Any ideas anyone? Does anyone thing the GM's will be able to restore my character?
