Yes, my pick is i my right hand (alhought I think it doesn't matter). I've probably forgotten to express the point. I know why I can't digging -- I have digging skill on 0 level. (I suppose I need 1 level). The point is, that although I've invested many progression points into it (and I can't anymore, bacause it's full) I have still level 0.

I'm confused with mining skill even I have read the manual carefully. I invested about 7 progression points into the mining skill (and i filled the yellow bar with the green one) an it's still impossible for me to dig both iron or gold. There is always a system message, that I don't have the skill for mining. 
What I'm doing wrong? (I do have a rock pick.)
edit: The problem may be, that I'm still on 0 level of digging, although I can't put more points into the theoretical knowledge because it's already full (green). But why?

I got 3 glyphs (snowflake, tornado and a fire) and even I tried all combinations by putting them into the combination box (includes each glyph alone) the description of the new spell, which I want to save in my Spell Book, didn't appear. 
I probably need more skill, but in manual is nothing about it. 
So please, tell me which skill I need to upgrade. Thanx

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / can't connect to fragnetics game server

After my first startup I attemped to log in to the game but the only server which was offered to me to log in (fragnetics) had "failed" status. It is still not working. I'm using Linux (but it's not a linux specific problem) and I'm behind NAT. Any Ideas?
