Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Everything loads but what is wrong with the words???

Someone help me out here. i put the patch in the planeshift folder, then i hit the updater button, then this kind of stuff pops up... WTF???


any help would be greatly appreciated. i wanna play this game!!!
