Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION AT 00B2D424

I have no idea what is wrong with the thing, but that is what comes up when I try to start the game.  it has never started.

I have the .dmp file if anyone needs it in order to diagnose the problem
