alrighty i get where your all going guess since games new most of you are all pretty new dont look in hindsight i said MOST anyways since you seem to be scared of the word "retard" and such i suggest a game more to your liking

since this is a forum about a game you should realy learn to deal with it dont like cousing or "bad words" then realy u need to sign up on the posted link above and umm goodluck, sorry open beta is supost to have "bugs" obviously but an open beta that doesent work for ANY computer that meets the requirments is not release or maintaind properly nomatter the problem client side there is obviouse server/game/development issues with this game that is why i said make sure the game actualy works befor its released i dont mean make sure it works on your comp or your buddies i eman make sure it works on a few hundred diffrent comps or else your bound to have problems like you do...hence the tech help forum has 250+ pages means theres more than a "few" problems and dont worry about posting in help section or banning me im not coming back here unless of course yet another person trying to "help" me decides to post

your right on all accounts i am actualy sorry for most of what i say, gm's are not the devolopers of the game correct but they are in charge of servers and issues that arise within that, i know u dont live on servers but 14 hours all i got was 1 fairly smart person that tried to help and one retard that dident even read the post just posted some random crap... the "help" section  for the most part dident help me at all, the layout of the site im sorry to be blunt is a little poor and un organized it seems more to me like the gm's developers worked on a deadline more than on the "realness" of the game so sorry for offending you but its a little disconcerting to sit at a comp for a long time trying everything to get a game to work and absolutly nothing changed then when i finaly go to "post new topic" tab i get no help at all.

never had the older version no client or exe was running in backround and i full uninstalled the game 3 times each threw diffrent means, i realize the newer version dident need to be patched but when i did patch it, it allowed me to proceed past the game loading screen. by the way im not talking about in the game im talking about when you click "run planeshift" on the updater, befor it goes to that screen where it loads the login screen theres a flash of a black screen where it is loading the...loading screen... that is where the access violation is occuring when i patched it let me go all the way to date of borth page but then the error pops up again
