The same thing has just happened to me   :(  :-\  :'(. I decided to come back to planeshift after being inactive for a few months and successfully downloaded the ps client 3.017, THE LATEST VERSION OF PS! So I open it up and it says "you are not running the correct version of planeshift. Please launch the updater". Anyway I was just thinking about launching the updater when I stumbled across this thread. Now after reading your post I'll think twice about updating  :thumbup:

Ok I was wandering through the death realm minding my own business when suddenly I accidently slipped and fell into an abyss. Unfortunately I didn't die or lose any health for some reason and now I'm stuck down here with no way to get out  :(.
