Basically, if you\'ve read the setting, you know more or less what the game it about.  I don\'t think we actually have any major goal per se, other than hang out, bash monsters, and have fun.  Maybe a mod will wander by and say something.

I have found people to be friendly in EQ, maybe you should try that.

P.S.  acting rude, using d33d speak, and begging will piss off anyone in any game.  Don\'t do it and you will make friends.  Be helpful to people newer than yourself.  Assist people stronger than you even if it kills you, because they might just give you some items (its happened to me before, like in EQ when I got a Crstalline Robe that normally goes for 400 pp - and I got it at lvl 12, just for helping out another character a bit more powerful than me.  So he logged in his level 40 alt and gave me this robe.)

I am not saying you should expect a reward.  Rather, do it to be kind and helpful, to be friendly and useful.  You will get help in return.  You will get a good reputation if you do these things.

Yah, that would be bad if guilds followed that.  Then, what if there was a BBB guild, and Kada couldn\'t afford to be president of it....and was only a lowly barmaid in her own tavern.

Oh dear god, I think my brain is rotting out.  Ok, 1 month ago, I never would have posted compost like that.  Sigh, why fight it?

Look under the Help Us!  section on the main page.  You will find two positions: members, and contributors.

I got a kick out of the stories.  It sounds like you can infuse new installments with a healthy dose of cynacism to; I\'m looking forward to what you next write.

Gion, you should meet more people from Maine.  We have a high level of cynacism, so we don\'t think anyone really likes us.   Hehe, then again, Maine/New Hampshire might as well be another country all together.

P.S. you can have Texas and Alabama if you want.  I mean, seriously, why would we want them?  Their historical contribution is Bill Clinton, George Bush, and smog.  No offense (hehe, disclaimer) to anyone unlucky enough to live in one of those states.  You could, you know, move?  Even (gasp) Canada is better!!!   (sorry, had to get in a Canadian joke....).

Sure, your welcome on over here Kada.  If yer gonna visit New England, hit it during late September, when the leaves turn.   I dunno if you have these over there in England, but we have these things called trees.   And they grow, like, in these large patches.  We call em forests.  Well, during the fall, the leaves change color to gold and red and orange.

Another good reason is you would avoid the infamous tourist season, where all the rich brats from conneticut or wherever come drive their ugly selves around my state, parking their ugly butts on my beaches, and living in all the finest houses.

The kind of culture England has is the kind that grows when you leave something in the fridge to long!  :p

Tolkien was the only thing going for England and he DIED  :(    To bad for all you brits.

I suppose being able to cut your air up into cubes with a knife could be considered...um, culture...I guess.  We get to breath in New England though  :)

You English people should try New England, ya know.  Its like England, but with air, land, water, animals, and nice little towns.

Why do you think its called NEW ENGLAND Kada??!?!?!?   Its like the mythical UOII, but made manifest:  all the bugs and game hacks tweaked out of it; all the random pkers and the griefers banned.  Its like England 2.0   ~  why waste time using a country a 1000 years out of date?  Upgrade to England 2.0 today!  Move to Maine!

I think its available as code on the Crystal space website.  One of the devs mentioned in a thread that if we were all so impatient we could go compile it and DEAL.

England is sort of like Ultima Online:  people started building houses on top of everything and the rampant PKing drove a lot of people a little nutty.   Everyone started to leave, and only the hardcore England enthusiasts stayed behind.

Im from Maine, which is a part of Antarctica.   A long time ago, the Maine-New Hampshire Subcontinent broke off of Antartica and drifted up near North America, but the temperatures remain the same as the original continent.    :D
