Jesus claimed to be King of the Jews.

[Where in the Bible does Jesus himself claim to be King of the Jews?]

[Zanibar, stop picking holes. You know what I mean.]

[Jesus was crucified under a sign that said he was the king of jews, though I can't find where Jesus himself is recorded saying it, you might want to read John 19:18-22 for some interesting things about it.

But let's not turn this into a religious discussion, this should be kept on-topic. :)

*edit as of 11-10-06; 5:43PM GMT-6*
I am quite off topic. I shall fix the situation, since I was going to have something IC here anyway, just had to leave before I could write it. ^^; ]

IC as Xeraans Shekiath.

"I do not doubt what he has said, this Kran." A voice shouted out near the edge of the crowd. There stood a tan and white enkidukai, garbed in a hunter's leather clothing. Strung over his small shoulders was a longbow. A few people look his way, questioning his sudden and full faith in the one who recently claimed to be the 'son' of a god.
"Is it not written in the books of lore, that the beings known as Kran were born of the solid ground, by the God Talad?" he takes off his bow, and relaxes a bit. "If you do not believe me, go to the libraries and read yourself!

"But of course, that is if you believe in Gods in the first place..."

[OOC: This is, of course, assuming that -some- version of the history is in our history books.. as people go around claiming they know how far Yliakum is under the ground.]

Dalat smiles at Xeraans, "You will be rewarded when the Lord of the Rock comes down to pass judgement." Dalat sits under tree and closes his eyes.

Quitarias walks to Harnquists and hears the someone is proclaiming to be the king of kran and muters to himself "i wonder where do we get all the "Nobles" from"

OOC: you shouldnt run around saying you are a king of something unless people agree to that and it turns to be a decent RP like "Xillix's Ochtarc Play" or something like it anyway and who elected you kind certainly not me

OOC: Just to make it clear, Dalat is claiming that he is the king of the Kran and their saviour. To make a biblical example, Jesus claimed to be King of the Jews. Dalat is not exactly claiming to be their ruler as such, he is saying it as their saviour and Talads representation.

IC: "You should not mutter, it is the height of rudeness."

OOC
Just to answer to all the OOC posts and reply to IC posts.

[dalat, krans can max be 2.1 meters tall :)]

* Peacer breaks his meditation and smiles a bit at the kran and his aura before watching him curiously "Hmm, might watch this one" he thinks and relaxes trying to learn more from his aura

This is what can cause suspicion and fear, the fact that he is extremely tall.

_____________

Indygo wonders how a kran, an asexual being, could be the son of anyone let alone Talad himself.

He claims to be grown from the "Soil of Talad" (stop nitpicking)

_____________

* Siteri Kidachi is disappointed at his lack of desire to reconcile Talad and Laanx.

He says that Lannx is a traitor and a trickster. That Lannx has no place in Yliakum for not forgiving Talads mistake and Lannx's jelousy of Talad.

_____________

*stood at a Hydlaa plaza, "This is nothing more but an imposter!" he shouted, "Laanx is the true god! The iron temple stands as a momument to his greatness!"

Dalat turns to Gyerfry and says, "The Iron tample is a symbol of how the god of the crystal has seduced the inhabitants through trickery and fear. Hydlaa is the place of Talad, let it stay his." Dalat turns away to tand to the furnace.

[RP]

"A Kran enters the Hydlaa Plaza with an almost delirious smile on his face. He attracts the attention of the crowd of people around the blacksmith. This Kran has not been seen before. He looks around at the Blacksmith Parlour. He is wearing modest rags, he carries a light backback with holes in the bottem and a straw hat. He is prehaps around 2.5 meters tall and has extremely rare minerals embeded in his neck. He has a various number of glowing Glyphs in a sack slung over his back. He smiles at the mixture of races around him and speaks, 'My friends...Salvation is come...'"

Background of Dalat Tabei
This Kran, called Dalat Tabei, claims to the son of Talad. A Prophet sent by the great being himself to warn the inhabitants of Yliakum about the coming of Talads judgement and to sway the peoples loyalty to Lannx, who Dalat descibes as a traitor and an imposter. Whether you decide to believe Dalat and follow his teachings is up to you [Use your characters personality].

You have heard rumours about the Kran performing amazing feats, that he has travelled beyond Yliakum and the Labyrinths and even that he prevented a dwarf from dying of the Hammerwielder Flu.

[The rest is up to you and your characters mind]  :innocent:

(OOC: Please add a reply saying how your character will react to give me an idea of the general consensus) :whistling:
