Skills and stats (and even all the game) are for making the roleplaying more advanced.

If it can be changed in the future, I will be happy then. Let the players write their storylines! And I feel sick, when I see the ideas that are for "make the game more oryginal", but practically make the game unbright.

Normal stats and skills points is used to be used in most RPG games. Why? It is just the best way to create your character. Let the storylines and character statistics go the different ways, please. It will make the game more... authentic.

by takig the options which are the closest to your character background. After that your char start his adventure with skills and stats based on your background.

But even if I change the closest options, they are still far from the concept! It would be nice to make your story, happenings from life and other things like that by yourself! And if somebody had few ravens on his house when borned, it doesn't mean he's better in the Dark Magic! These options are stupid like (...).

Hmmm... some ppl still don't understand what I am talking about. But bilbous had the good idea about it. Because roleplaying is heart of this game, it should be useful also for backing the RPs' claims. Unfortunately, it would be very hard to make ingame. IMO my idea for faster training and lesser stat/skill limits still rules.

But we must remember - it's still a :beta:...

socia, you don't understand what I am talking about. I don't say about making the players sick of their low skills that can't be increased. I say about making the players skick of their high skills that can't be increased, BECAUSE THEY ARE HIGH ENOUGH TO DO ANYTHING THEY WANT WITH THEM! Killing the strongest monster with one hit is... wrong! So there must be skill & stat limit! But it will be high ofcourse! We can also talk about the increasing training speed. If the newbie reach the highest skill fast, maybe he will go roleplaying for fun!

When the newbies see the training of next, unuseful for them skill is so booring, they will start interacting. But why to interact with the another players if you can increase your one, favourite skill into infinity?

I have also a bad feeling, that the game makers were thinking about only one character (Ylian, good and right) making the characters maker. And imo the stupid thing is to stats and skills depend of the events in life. And it isn't bright for newbies how to make the character that they REALLY want...

IMHO there should be clear fields where you can write anything you want, and few random ideas if you have less brain than the mouse that you use to scroll the forum ^^. It's bright, that if the GMs will see anything wrong in your char's making fields, they will change it. But give the players more freedom and more fun!

Wish list / Stats & Skills Limit

I saw already few threads about that, but I will show you the simplier (and better IMO).

You all know, that lots of players play only to stat. They still run for next PP and skill points. How to cut it? Isn't it the RolePlaying game? There shall be a stat limit.

The stat limit. If there is a stat limit, the players can't make the chars that will still train the same stat or skill and training instead of just roleplaying. Because the life of character should be rather made by quests, not by training.

The skill limit of fighting and magic skills should depend on the monsters' power. The most powerful monster should be able to kill the player with max stats (skills) with few hits, but not in one. And the player shall need also few hits to kill him.

The skill limit for thieves' skills (like hiding) should look like - if you have max hiding skill, you can be almost invisible (only in the most opened and bright place he can be visible). It's because the thieves haven't got the easy life, so they need to have at least skills.

The skill limit of gathering, crafting and other peaceful skills should be enough to create the most powerful items with 100% chance of success or gather the big amounts of high-quality materials. No sense of raising it more.

The STAT limit should be low, so the stats don't decide about your character's life more than it is absolutely needed for realistic game.

Please read it before delete ;).

Newbie Help (Start Here) / Re: Death Realm Help

Will it be legal if I write a tutorial "How to leave Death Realm"? This place is very annoying and it's a big problem for newcomers (it's my luck that I found the way outside, first few corridors are the most problemative...).
