Actually if you read my questions I was asking for \"what\" becomes better about the skills, you know I can figure myself that skilling up somehow improves them :rolleyes:

So what is the actual advantage in skilling up magic?

More damge? faster casting? less failing?
Higher ranks spells i guess but there arent any glyphs for that :(

And for sword? damage? miss rate?

And is there an actual progression point limit you can earn?

Small side question how long does freeze 1 dmg per second work?

I want to ask if there is a visible changelog between the updates, if yes just oint me to it thx, if not would it be possible to add one here in the forums in a sticky thread, or as log file or better directly in the updater?

My grammar again sorry, what ravemaster said is the system im aiming for. I thought it would be clear from the text that the mana would be away from your max, and if your regeneration factor isnt high enough you would lose more and more, else you could hold it or maybe increase mana again.

Well, the normal answer on such request is \"If its done\"
but there is a bit of truth in what he said, imo putting in fighting against humans first before against AI monsters is imo the better way to balance out skills and races.
Because if there are dirty tricks/exploits or imbalanced skills humans are the ones that find and use them.

Aehm, ok actually I was aiming for the LOOK of your hud, it would be cool if every race has an own hud STYLE representing their \"style\" not different chat channels for races.

but my main question aimed for the percentage system(100%maximum) what imo is better then the most used point sytem, where you get more and more mana points with level ups. In the percentage system spells would need less mana after useing them much,  and you would gain a higher regeneration factor for higher levels. The advantage of the percentage system is imo a more realistic and controlable use of mana, the example was the shield that would f.e. use 40% of your mana with f.e. a regeneration factor of 20% you could hold it up for a lmedium time but not endless.
If you cast powerful spells which use much mana percent the shield would drop. Or the opposite, shield needs 10% you get 20% regenaration, then you could hold up the shiled until you cast to many spells.
I fear due to my bad grammar this might have been misleading before.

Imo help textes for things like doors which can be avoid by doing something right a few times are the better solution, that way everybody would learn it, without annoying others and more useful since you have it ingame and not in a outside manual.
The key asking problem will automaticly disappear, when people can bind there own keys imo.

What about race specific huds, imo it would add to the atmoshaer. Meaning to have a hud styled in a look like your classes race.

Sorry my fault, I read about the physik energy stuff in combat section the second time I read it, had overseen that part.
But still whats with mana use for moves with magical damage and do you use a percentage system or a point system?

Lorock I really dont know what you want to say with point one, and wtf has point 2 todo with the topic or the listened points, please open up a specific thread for it.
I hate if threads are going off topic.

And to clearify my point 2, i know there is none run toggle, my point was to put them into one key instead of 2, why haveing more keys the needed. I think the going all time should be a seperat key, you would have the possibility to toggle go all the time and another key to set the speed you do this.
That key can be used hold by or by toggled, ok.

I really hope there will be a hit zone models with many different parts(foot, legs, low body, chest, arms, hands, neck, head and so on if you want it more detailed) because different hits should make different damage and effects. You wont die by a hit to legs or arms but could do run or hit less effectiv, but a hit to head or a slice through neck would immediatly kill you.
This would really affect how the skill of someone shows in a fight, and leaves mcu tactics for a fight.

Dont know if you already plan to implent this, but imo beside life and mana, stamina is important.
Becasue for special fighting moves I think stamina should be usedand the same here like in my mana post with 100% and u use a part of it for a move the more expirienced in it the less stamina percent to use.
Only for moves with magical damage you should need to use mana too.
Another part where it could be used is for sprinting and jumpeing.

Dont know if this fits in here or in general so feel free to move it if its wrong placed.

Since there is no info about the magic system I will post my opinion on it.
If you use a mana system what imo works best for most parts of casting spells, I would like to see a percentage system instead of mana points.
Meaning you have 100% mana a regeneration factor(maybe getting higher with your expirience), and the spells would use percentage of your mana the more expirienced you are in a spell the less percent it would take. That way spells like shields could take a part of your mana as long as you have it on and if your regeneration isnt high enough it would drop after a time or if you cast a powerful spell your shield might not be up becuase you use to much mana.
I think this could be an interresting system.
