Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Updater unable to find Mirrors

Hiya

I am new to Planeshift, today I downloaded the game from a torrent and installed it on my pc (windows user)
I been reading the forum and noticed that 0.17 is just new, I seem to have troubles with the updater "Ran out of mirrors Game can not be updated".
Is there any other way to update my game or do I have to wait patiently till the issue is resolved  :)
