I dont think everyone should make a bank. The more banks the less profit for each

No no one bought anyone out, it was a formal meeting that led to this decision, besides with 300k not much would buy me. The compromise is that rates will changes, etc, I am vice president meaning that we both decide how this bank works.

Yliakum Banking Network

First off, this post is based off http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=26323.0. This way, you can easily compare, side by side, the two banks.
Starting today, December 01, the Yliakum Banking Network will be up and running. Furik Lamatt is the owner of this bank. Recently, I have done alot of research and have decided to make this bank a fully functioning bank, not a spare time hobby. Being a decent programmer, I have decided to make a website where you can read about our bank, apply for jobs, and make online transactions. It will also include a list of workers and their positions.

We currently offer:

  • Bonds and Loans. Interest will be charged by a percent, you will be given a reasonable time to pay it off without any interest, but after that, a 3% - 5% will be added. There is no amount that has to be backed up first, loans are quick and simple. For bonds; you state your price and a day that payments start, and a payoff date. Their will be no set amount owed per day for bonds, pay any amount you wish, as long as it is payed off by the finish date. Please note that there is a 10% interest on bonds because you choose your date.
  • Investment. As of now, we have an extremely large supply of trias (several hundred thousand) and are in no need of investor's money.
  • Deposits. Deposits seem useless, but will be available.

Currently, we are in need or four or more people. These people can apply in-game for one of these positions:

  • Financial managers = organizes Financial assistants
  • Financial assistants = collects payments from clients
  • Runner = does what he is told.

Payment will be 10% of all profits to start out with, this salary will go up.

Later, district managers will be needed to branch out to other areas.
We will set up a small shop at the gold mine, where people can run players gold to a store, get the cash and come back. This service will cost 5% of the total earnings. Cheap if you realize that out of 1000, 5% is only 50
Our main bank is located in the bar. This is the store with an open door and a beer mug on it.
We encourage friendly competition and will even loan starting banks money.
Again, this page was based off another banks post to allow for side by side comparison of the two.
To apply for a job, purchase a service, or a financial deal, contact me at siberianfox117@yahoo.com or as Furik Lamatt in game.

I personally think that as long as the attack speed is low and the attack damage is high, it doesnt really matter, what you get.

5k a day is alot if you dont play everyday, and are stuck with 10 or 15k a day. And like I  said on my guild question, Im not going mafia style here, just friendly competition, Im not trying to ruin anyone.

lol, did not see that, my banking system is not up yet, it will be, and i hope to provide friendly competition, no we are not going mafia style into this, just a banking system in our spare time, I am currently evaluating economic deals and prices, percentages, and all that confusing stuff. Anyway, I joined Planeshift because I like business, and a new economy means that coorperations have not yet developed, but they start now...

*edit*

have read the link provided and I think that its a load of bs. If I need a loan, why would i have 50% to pay first? I cant see them making anything. Besides, I may get ripped off, but its just a game and in this game, money flows like a river.

I assume you are using Linux, which version? If it happens to be Ubuntu, many people are having problems, along with any distro with X in it and Gnome.

You don't HAVE to, it's just a recommendation that you do. Also one of the first things to know about internet speed connections is that web surfing is fast, downloads NEVER as fast, and uploads never as fast as downloads.

The graphic accelerators for SUSE have always bothered me, I would uninstall the accelerator, or reinstall the OS.

Me and a few friends plan to make a PS banking guild with loans, bonds, deposits, etc. Im sure someone's already tried this, but I plan to try anyway. If this guild was made, who here would be interested in using it, this way 20k goes to good use.

lol, but if I understand your question right, the answer is that you must update the client manually, it will not auto update.
