Yes m8 thats the one its a bit of a dog but about a year back my Gf cooked its self :( and thats all i had at the time to throw in...

i was planning on getting a GF 6600/6800 next week somtime but people are telling me that its a waste of time with my CPU (only 1.5ghz) so ill see...

why think thats causing this????

ASUS A7S333 mobo
AMD 1800+ 1.5ghz
1 gig ram
3d prophet 4500 64mb (latest drivers) *tried severel versions..
XP pro
running at 32bit depth 1024-768res..

game runing in windowed mode (wont run in FS due crashes) 32 bit sound off and vertex shader on :)

crash codes (i get 2) 2D43D2A7 and 7C910F29

need any more info let me know...

ok before i start i know this game is in early dev and is somewhat unstable so please dont think im ranting here basicly ive been here 3 days now and have been plauged with problems....

i managed to fix the first problem my self wich was a GFX driver option issue... then i have been crashing as i just get into the game i fixed this 2x with the "turn sound OFF" workaround and the vertex shader...   i have been ingame 2x both times less then 10 min....


if i try most of the day to get it to run i maybe lucky and get in once then be crashed out minutes latter....

now all im asking is basicly where do i stand, is this normal??? as its in early dev or is this a little bit strange, from what iv seen i love the game and the whole idea of it.... i dont know if its a problem my end or just growing pains in the game, i fix a problem then next time i try to join the game its back and i havent changed a thing....

so please dont think im going off on one like a old women here but is it the game or is it me? if its the game grate ill just sit back and let the devs pick out the holes but im spending hours here wondering if there is anything my end i could do....

so to put it simply is the game extreamly unstable ATM.... and is this latest update the most stable so far.....

i know im going on a bit butits sending me nuts here LOL.... tnx guys and gals

guys thank you soooooooooooooooooooooooo much i turned music off and it worked... then i read the above post on the vertex shader and that works with music on so i duno lol strange stuff...

ill have a play.. again tnx guys i was about to kick this thing up the wall lol

i downloaded this game 2 days ago first it crashed when i logged in with my UN PW.... sorted that now i have this problem  :@#\ :'( ???

i created my char uploaded it to the server no problems there.. then the game hooks up to the server and loads the game i enter the game and INTANTLY i get these error codes  2D301B56 and 7C910F29...  i can see the world and my char with no obviois problems but as soon as i see that it crashes i have added the error log below in the slightest hope someone will be able to point me in the right direction...

ive tried the following..

Del the version.dat and update again....
uninstall.. del all dir's clean reg of any left over reg links restart and reinstall...
several GFX drivers...
run game in evry combo of color depth and res

all to no avail..

tnx for the help guys i did both of the above and while i was waiting for a reply from the DMP files i sent of to the lab ::) i had a bitt of a moses my self it seems that because i had "TEXTURE COMPRESSION" enabled in my vidiocard drivers it was causing it to crash....

so if anyone out there is having these probs IE.>>>>>>>>>>>

2D00FC0B or 7C910F2B errors its somthing to do with the above hopfully this may save someone a heap of time in the future...

well just Dl this great looking game tonight and installed it, fired it up, put in my account details an clicked ok (to connect to main server i would imagine?) at what point i get EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 7C910F2B errors....

now i DID run the updater as it told me i was running a out of date version, update went fine then i get these errors???

i have uinstaled and re-instaled to no evail......

on the opening screen (where u put ur acc details the server status on the rights comes up failed somtimes then starts counting again with a % by it, i have given PS FULL access even tried disabling firewall all together no go.......

after searching the forums like a mad ferret all i can find on the subject is somthing about a manual patch but that looks like a older version eitherway its not available anymore..... the only other thing is server disruption from earthquakes and server updates....

ok thats what i have at the moment anyone care to shed a bitt of light in my direction??? is there somthing i need to do or just wait and be patient??  :-X ;D


any help would be grate carnt wait to try this game :)
