Complaint Department / Re: Weddings - what's the deal?

I would like it if there were same-sex marriages. I am not homosexual myself, but I would like to be able to choose for my character.
I suppose, however, it is more realistic to not allow gay marriages, as most societies sadly do not allow them.  :(
BTW what is all the talk about sex? I don't think you can have sex in game, can you? I've never tried.  ;D

Mac OSX Specific Issues / Issue with Planeshift

OK I just got a new computer and installed Planeshift on it. When I tried to started it up it loaded ok, but when it got to the login screen, instead of text, there were all these little white vertical lines, like barcodes. Anyone know whats up with it? The computer is a PowerBook g4, by the way.

OK, here's my 3 things:

1. Ctrl-click support for Macs
2. Not really an implementation, but could the Death Realm music be changed? It's kinda grating.
3. Being able to customise your size (fat, skinny, in-between).
Thanks!

Linux Specific Issues / Not being able to install on linux
« on: July 07, 2007, 05:18:58 am »
Hi, I'm trying to install PlaneShift on Linux, and every time I try, it says "cannot execute binary file", or "syntax unexpected. I'm a total linux n00b, so I have no idea what any of that means. Any suggestions? I'm running Feisty Fawn on a ppc g4 processor, if that helps.

Thanks in advance.

Erm, it didn't work. I still scratch my nose at people when I greet them, and bow for no reason aproximately(sp?) every 10 seconds.  ??? Do you have to do it in the characters 2 file?
EDIT: I did it in both characters and characters 2 file, and it still didn't work.
Edit 2: Oops, char. 2 is a file I created accidentaly.

OK, I looked at the character file,(It's not a .zip on a Mac, as zip files on a mac are files, not folders) and there is no file by that name.  ???

Ok, I think this is a bit off topic.  :) Anyway, back on topic, how do you edit it to be this way? Is the file you use in the planeshift folder?  ???

Well, I'm not that strong, and I'm getting tired of being attacked every time I go to sell my furs. Shouldn't there be "bad" parts of town, where the rogues go?  :P

Hi, I'm a new user, and I love PlaneShift. However, I am having a problem with the Rogues in my city. (Ojaveda) They will come up to me and attack for no good reason.  :@#\ :@#\ :@#\ This has happened a few times, and I am sick of having to watch my back all the time.  >:( Is there a bug? My other characters have not had a problem with this. Has this happened to anyone else?
