This topic is entertaining.

Also, good to see you Donari and Doshot!

Sangwa, as far as I can recall you threw a fit, insulted quite a few good people, and quit. After what you have done it's best for the Empire if Parallo runs it on his own.

That was exactly what happened. I wouldn't add the word "good" to it though.
Ah, but you did that because you loved us all so much
The father kicked his kids out of the house, and then shed the odd tear as he watched his legacy fail.

So, now the father is offering us the warmth of his hearth again?
Very interesting indeed.

I won't be showing up yet, but I'll give this advice to anyone who wants to reboot the Scholars:
Create an offline backup of ALL BOOKS, ASAP.

Now to more technical matters:
Sangwa, contact Xordan to regain access to the website. I have been unable to login for months and have plagued Xordan on an irregular basis to fix it, but he has been unable to find the problem, since the username/pass should be good. The website's software is horribly outdated and needs a good overhaul, or it'll be spammed to oblivion if anyone dares to open a page you can post in.

Oh, and "Hi everyone!".

The DE is very much alive in spirit. Note the "in spirit". Yes, we need more members and yes, we need some of the old folks to return. We also need FTP access to our website (somehow nobody can login anymore :P ) and I've been trying to fix that for ages now, no luck. I'm always active and always standing by. I just don't have much time to play anymore since my new study which eats up all of my time. I just can't play regularly anymore.

But we're alive on the forums though  ;)

Well, well, well, if it isn't Auran. That has been such a long time ago even I have only heard stories of you and the Cabal. One of my mentors said you were quite the speecher. I wonder if I will ever hear one, will it come to that? It almost seems that with all of these oldbies running about the Empire has to, dare I say it, watch its back? Haha, that would be great for a change.

Not obsessed with power, but one should always keep an eye or two on parties that may threaten your own goals, to keep an edge.
And delegation? Ah, overrated. The time when the Emperor hid in a shady throne-room is long past, it is by showing ourselves that we gained more power.
After all the Empire has nothing to hide...

The Black Order shall rise again in the relative near future with a single purpose: to change these realms once again. Maybe you'll fit among its followers old friend.

:innocent:

Hahahahaha, perhaps they'll have a proper management this time. Ah, the great posts on the guild forum that never got past 3 lines of text :P
Anyway, you'll never overrule the Dark Empire

The Empire isn't dead, we're still here even though we're a whole lot less visible and many members are inactive. There have been more of such moments in the DE's history, we'll recuperate sometime.
In the meantime I'll keep all the DE infrastructure up (forums, website, threads). All we need is members.

The Imperial Scholars still have a sizeable library around, I guess we could donate some of the less dangerous books to the public. Given some terms are met.

There are only three libraries right now.
Is that with the Imperial Library included?

The Imperial Scholars will do the same thing, only double of what The Arcane Brotherhood offers.

Pevrin Damerr is Hydlaa's authority on Pterosaurs and Megaras, but he doesn't know anything about the Pterosaur Arena or any Pterosaur saddlers.
Well, he doesn't even know what a Pterosaur or Megara is in the first place.

Just the usual problems with collision detection, collision boxes, collision maps, probably.
Assassin's Creed got delayed because it had issues with collision detection, so do you think this'll be 100% fixed soon? I don't think so.

* Eolas reads the notice board and start to laughs when he sees this announcement. Smiling he adds a note below it.
Why does a member of the Empire need to do such petty jobs to gather necessary fundings?
Stop being a fool and report to me as soon as possible.
