Mac OSX Specific Issues / Wrong version...? HELP PLEASE

I've downloaded the OS X version from two different mirrors, and both of the updaters, 1.2-1.3, 1.4, and I have everything updated. So when I log in, it says that I'm running the wrong version...? ANY HELP PLEASE!!! ???
