Even when I disable the firewall it still wouldn't work. And port 7777 is unblocked. But still, why would I be able to ping the server using a comman prompt while not able to ping in updater or login to the game?  ???

Thanks for the quick response. The servers.xml does include the serverlist element and I tried replacing the server name with its IP address as well but it doesn't work. One note is that when I ping the server on the command line the responses are from kraken.fragnetics.com instead of laanx but since they have the same IP address I'm assuming they are the same servers?

Hi all,
When I use the command ping laanx.fragnetics.com I have no problem receiving response, but when I ping the server using the updater or trying to run the game it always gives me the error saying 'Server didn't respond' (for updater) or failed (when trying to login). Any idea?
