I\'m glad to hear that  :D
I played the pre-alpha since my post and have been very impressed by the quality of the character model and architecture since it\'s only a pre alpha :) ( btw I caught a ruby :P )

By down time, I meant the time you spend doing nothing but watching you character regaining his mana/hp... It\'s kinda boring !

Hi all, I heard about a free MMORPG 1 hour ago, and I though \"oh well... a new 2D mmorpg with crappy 640*480 res graph and awfull lag... but let\'s check it\" and I looked at your website.... \"OMG OMG OMG *fall off the chair* \"

First of all, I really want to congratulate you, since your free mmorpg is a big slap in the face to most of the other actual mmorpg in development.

Ok now let\'s talk about the reason of my post : I already played a lot of mmorpg, and I remember what I loved the most.
I don\'t know if they are already implemented ingame, or if somebody already asked for them... however that\'s what I personally think you should try to have :

- Mounts.  I suggest that you put few of them, that have different stats ( It can boost Speed, defense, attack, etc... depending the race of the animal ) and that are easy, average, hard, or rare to find ( by quest for some, money for others, maybe a Tradeskill that Tame for wild ones, etc... ). It\'s really enjoyable to be on a cool looking creature :)

- Pets. different kind of pets : combat, mule, medic . a skill for taming some, a skill for Summoning some that can\'t be found in nature

- lots of tradeskill ! They are primordial if you don\'t want it to be just a hack & slash game !
there are plenty of them : mining, smithing, alchemy, herbalism, Artist, cooking, Fishing, etc... each with a lot of complexity and that might need each others at highter level.
ex : For the Fishing skill : different rods, baits, hooks, with different quality, that improve chance to catch different fish depending on the lake you are, moreover the cook/alchemist will need a certain fish to train his skill.

- No camp for creatures
don\'t make your creatures/Npc spawn always at the same place/time, and don\'t make interesting quest/loot NPC spawn once each 5 or 6 days like in Everquest !

- No down time
It\'s really frustrating to look at your computer during minutes, watching you mana/hp bar going back up to be able to go hunt again...

- add lots of different monster size/model/skin
I like to see a great variety in the bestiary rather than killing always the same kind of monsters with a different name and stats but the same face

- add some big monsters/boss
That one is very personal, but I prefer hunting cool looking creatures that are 3 time my size and really seem able to cut me in pieces in no time, rather than killing a bunny and some rats ! but make it progressivly ! It\'s normal to hunt small things at the beggining of the game and to be able step by step to mess with bigger one

- add lots of ( graphically ) different items
when I play a mmorpg, there is nothing more sad than to see everyone with the same looking armor/ weapon, just because there is only 3 different models and only the stats changes... I love to see when everybody seems unique, whith is own looking style, and not like if I was looking at an army of clone

- add lots of customisation at the character creation for the looking ( Shape/color of the hair, eyes, noise, mouth, tatoo, muscle, height, weight ) and for the starting skills/stats
same reasons as the one before

- make the world large and with lots of different places/climat

- make the player/guild be able to buy things such as house, shop, etc

- add cool particule effect for spells and weapon
I dont know if the engine permit this, but it\'s awesome to see flaming/electricity/acid(/...) weapons, and spells that actually show/represent something ( not just a few lights dancing around the caster and then a bigger one going at the monster )

- make lots of Roleplaying items that have no use beside improving fun & roleplay
Ex : decoration for the house, trophies, nice looking clothes, funny things/item effect

That\'s it, i don\'t have many more things in mind at the moment, I know that I\'ve talked about very general things ( world large, lots of monsters, lots of quest... ) but IMHO it is what will prevent people to achieve the game in 1 month...

ps : please forgive my english, I\'m not very fluent at it  :P
