I didn't have 'load all maps' etc. on so it wasn't that. I'm now getting a different problem. I start to load the game and get so far in then my Mac crashes. Macs don't do that. A notice comes up telling me that I have to restart my computer. It doesn't happen every time. I did get to play a bit the other night. There is a report generated for me to send to Apple which I have done on two occasions. It is something to do with kernels, which I've heard of but don't know what they do. Is this specific to the Mac.

I have tried 4 times this afternoon to enter the game. Once it quit while loading world, then the other 3 times it quit just after I had entered the world. I just get the message that the application has quit. Yesterday it said the server wasn't available. I don't know if this is a Mac specific problem or not. I am running on an iMac. Didn't have problems last week. Is some work being done on the server?

I managed to get the game to load tonight, using my character in the Death Realm, so hopefully the problem has righted itself. I'll let you know if I have further problems.

I'm having exactly the same problem. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, creating a new character, but I get past the character screen and then nothing happens. If I have the 'force quit' window open I get the PSClient_static (not responding) just after I've left the character creation screen. Please help, I'm really missing this game. I did get the bronze door problem but I created a new character and all was ok until I got killed and it wouldn't load the Death Realm, and then I couldn't load anything. Is this a common problem. I'm running the game on a 1 GHz G4 iMac with 768 ram and GeForce MX nVidia graphics card. This afternoon I got the message that the server wasn't available. Is this because of this problem?

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Unable to connect to bronze door region

This is my first post so if I'm posting on something already mentioned I am sorry. My character arrived at the Bronze Doors and the region load went on for ever so I disconnected. However when I went back I couldn't connect. I go past the character screen but the regiion would not load. The only way I could connect was to create another character. My character's name is Ethisse Elana. Can you help? I am running the game on a 1 Ghz G4 iMac, 768 ram, Gforce 4 MX Nvidia 64 Mb vram. I am really enjoying the game and was getting well with this character so I didn't want to lose her. I have tried re-installing the game but it didn't make any difference.
