Mac OSX Specific Issues / Re: Samething everyone's saying. 0.5 problem :O
« on: December 13, 2009, 10:33:22 pm »
So, I got it to run on my mac (running 10.4.11) for a while (at least an hour, then I had to leave)...
How I got it to run:
Run pslaunch.app
Let it update if necessary
Push "Play"
Immediately load psclient.app (once I waited a bit, and it didn't work, it gave the same error everyone else was getting)

But... after coming back after I logged out, the next time I tried to load... something weird happened... (excuse my horrendous descriptions)
When I push "Play" in the launcher, the app closes like it should (removed from dock, as well as running applications), but the image remains displayed (without anything being clickable), and it won't let me load it again. and psclient fails to open as well... the only way to try again is to restart my computer.
Once, this same odd phenomena occurred with Safari also. (the page I was on even logged me out and refreshed, but I couldn't open/close safari, or force quit it...)

Sorry if this is of no help whatsoever, but try that sequence at the beginning and see if it lets you in.

it seems the monsters in the arena are impervious to attack... not just one or two but all of them... i checked to see if this was a mac specific issue but did not see any info on it on the mac specific issues forum.  i am playing on a mac.

This afternoon ( 1-4 ish p.m. GMT -6 ) there seemed to be a lot of crashes... it said the server is not ready and to try again in 5 minutes ... which i did and i could connect no problem after 5 minutes...  but every once in a while all the monsters could be attacked and sometimes they couldnt be... they havent been "attackable" for a while now... its currently 7 pm ( gmt -6 still )

thanx for anyones help in this issue

( if this is a mac specific issue then forum mod plz move to mac area... ( tho i suppose you would have done so anyway... ) )
thanx again...
