it's like in my old screen-shot with the invisible models but imagine if you turn at an angle, the walls will overlay and strecth to your POV.

2
good to know you arn't stuck anymore though.

about the wall strecthing thing, that is common with me and my friend when playing in some places like Arena. anyone else get it? is there a fix or solution?

3
despite your useful help I found a temp. solution until I go out again, switching to 32bit solved alot and actually improves performance for me.

4
well guess it wouldn't hurt just to step out my house for once. again. d:

any suggestions for a vid card that is cheap and will run PS smoothly? bought RAM today from my manufacturer and haven't had the chance to try and see if PS runs any better due to the server being bork'd.

i'm not sure if RAM would solve what that picture showed but always good to have more around.

5
well, lol.
it says on dxdiag or GLinfo "S3 Chrome MMX/SE".
btw is the Fragnetics server down or just me?

about 4 months ago I did but nothing new ever since.

Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / wierd visuals
« on: June 18, 2007, 09:51:48 pm »
hello all and thanks.

can't find my other topic that had the system specs but.

OS winXP
64mb video card, hardware acceleration, MMX, SSE ( stuff I don't really understan )
512mb ram ( most stuff was disabled via msconfig )
3.2ghz 3dnow, MMX, SSE ( or whatever it's called )
about 200gig hd

my problem is I get this wierd graphics during a zone. like the whole side of a building I could see through and stuff. very annoying when at the arena or other spots that seem to have this issue.

here is a picture
any solution? fix? advice? i'll be opening up my computer soon to see how many slots for RAM it has.

would I need to upload a log?

honestly i'm stumped on how to change to software rendering.
can you be a bit more clear?

9
thanks a bunch man.
answered alot of my concerns. hell, all of them.

sup all.

well these are my computer specs and they meet the requirments.

OS Microsoft XP
612MB RAM *disabled most manufacturer crap and other stuff uneeded with msconfig to save all of our time*
3.2Ghz, MMX, 3dnow
DX9
SP2
64 mb card, full acceleration, supports opengl, d3d-- updated drivers.

so anyway the game runs moderatley well except the occasional drop in fps.
tested with some of the lower settings, higher. i feel openGL just isn't the renderer for me either way.  :ban:

i hear that others were able to switch to software rendering. so is there anyway I can switch at all? i can't find this option anywhere. is it the configs? need of assistance to change, if possible and directions on doing so.
