In-Game Roleplay Events / Re: Jyoshka's and Vinafera's wedding ceremony

I would like to take just a moment to thank every one of our wedding party and guests for helping us to celebrate this wonderful day. I am prouder of my guild than I can ever put words to, and humbled by the kindness and generosity of our guests. Your gifts are treasured, but your participation and well-wishes are revered. It amazes me daily how full Yliakum is of caring folk, be they tricksters, scrappers, rogues, or seekers of justice. Hail to you all, and may Yliakum always bring you more than you dare ask for.

[Vin and I have been married for 15 years IRL, as I am sure I've blabbed about often ;) , but I have to say 'marrying' again IG still gave me a thrill. I don't play as often as I'd like, but all of you were as welcoming to me as if I played every day. Many. many thanks.]

I stumbled on this project about 3 months ago. It looked wonderful, and I was sorry to see that it had gone somewhat quiet. I am VERY glad to see that it is getting a new lease on life. *SIGH* If only I could draw something other than slightly off-kilter grade school hearts  ;)

#4 Situation - ride a megaras into the Crystal Sun. Reward: go down in Yliakum history as the first player char to do so. Risk: Permadeath. Character deletion.

Sorry you feel that way. I showed up, and while I didn't fight, I did watch. I thought it was great to see so many players gathering together for an event. Those actually fighting seemed to enjoy it too, at least until the server died   >:( . I was also glad to see that he first fought the players that he hadn't fought before. Perhaps it even got some new members interested in duelling? I'm sure that the GMs weigh the IG codes versus the value of of the RP to the community and make the best decision they can. I'm glad they put so much effort into keeping us mere citizens entertained :) !
