I've been having some problems getting it to work.

It crashes immediately on login with certain characters of mine, and less immediately with others.  Many textures show up as black (it isn't a lighting problem, to my knowledge, but a graphics problem).

When it crashes, it takes the entire computer with it--force quitting isn't an option, I've had to restart the computer several times.

It's a 2Ghz intel dual core, Radeon 1600 graphics card, 1 gb RAM. (If you need more then that, I can provide more, it's what seems necessary.  Messages are useful).

I Been having the exact same problem with my intel *freezes computer after loading world*
Chaos guide does stat that it only works on Power macs and and mini intel mac. So I guess we other intel users still have to be patient.

Mac OSX Specific Issues / Re: Unable to start PS

Conner I know it can be frustrating that you can't log in and chat to your online friends while you have to stand around and wait.
I feel the same way however please remember a couple of things firstly this not a complete game yet it is still in its testing phases. Secondly its currently free and its one of the very few games that is willing to take time to make a mac version.
So if you please just  bear with the problems and be patient, the moderators can get on with their job and have it working for all us OSX nuts out there asap.

So this goes for all mac users out there only post bug reports (to assist the moderators) and don't post any "impatient/frustration" type of comments. Also please be grateful they are  taking the time to make a Mac version and be thankful for it. I know most of you out there are already doing this, so this post really only applies to the very few OSX users.

I don't know if that reveals everything since most of the time my computer freezes and I have to manually reboot my computer. Anyway I hope it helps.

I have an intel and have tried unsuccessfully to get PS working. I get it to run but it does one of three things:
it either loads sound only and not the map.
Freezes my computer completely after no more than two minutes logged in
or after also two minutes logged in says server has lost connection and then crashes out of ps.

I have an
iMac4,1 (Intel Core Duo)
Processor Speed:   1.83 GHz
using 10.4.9

Any help would be great

Cheers in advance
