Now wouldn\'t that be a \"Little\" off topic?

Not in the least! Tokelau is the country which owns domain .tk. I\'ve seen the info now, thanks!

Interesting projects! What are the bad reports about TK domains?

Could you implement \"Kissing\"? That would be a cool feat and I\'ve spotted some interesting Elven women there already!

as non-interactive NPCs are kinda boring if you ask me.

Hm, guess that\'s what their title is saying: \"non-playing characters\"

If they did that, though, I guess they wouldn\'t earn as much money...

I haven\'t been there but I have read things that there are virtual enterprise facilities as well. So you can try start mining and producing goods that other people then will buy.

Somehow the idea is that doing things that are enjoyable for others or a service will bring you money - and a virtual living, so-to-say. - I guess that really isn\'t a bad idea, because people are more serious and bound up to the game when they can see their money working. (That\'s how they are.) Dunno how stable such an economy can grow.

Thought, some kind of earning money wouldn\'t be bad idea for planeshift, too. Virtual money, but it mustn\'t be easy to get it. Just like in real life you have to do something for it - or knock out somebody else.

:]

P.S. From what I see lately, they\'ll probably us this game as a (real) marketing instrument and earn money by that. Could turn out a suck!

Looks like Entropia is a real challenge! :)

Just wonder what the strategy of the makers is. Are they possessing almost every shop and selling computer generated blasters - zero production cost - to user? LOL - good idea! - I don\'t mind them making money though, if it\'s a fair and enjoyable offer.

Can you pay them per bank account?

\"No NPCs are currently in Planeshift\"

That\'s not quite right. I\'ve personally spotted a charming lady in the library of Hydla. She\'s kinda short in expression though. - There\'s also a man in the library, btw.

Thanks! - Perhaps I just lack knowledge about what is the purpose of this story writing section and what its relatiion is to the Planeshift online game.

Do you need something like plot & drama writing for the online game, considering NPCs, tasks, missions etc.? Or is everybody just going there to horse around at their own liking?

Another newbie question:

Is there something like a file or folder with the latest evaluated and \"to-be-realised\" official roleplay story?

3. The third one is the Joint-Copyright PlaneShift License. This license is applied to contributors and allows the author to maintain his copyright while giving to PS the right to use his material. We give more details on that option below in this document

The above text from Planeshift\'s license notes seems to express something superfluous. The GPL - to widespread understanding - does not take away copyright from the author but only grants non-exclusive rights of usage. Hence this point 3 is already included in GPL.

As you further detail this point and forbid the contributor to use his makings in other MMORPG environments, this actually cuts down GPL. Don\'t know if you intended that.
