Mac OSX Specific Issues / I cannot get the psclient.app to even open...

I've got the game downloaded, and then ran the update.  Now the pssetup and psclient apps will not open at all.  I'm running os x 10.3.9.  Any clues on what I am doing wrong here? My machine is a g4 1.6... As far as I read on Chaos' post g4's were fixed with the update... ugh, my luck I can't run without 10.4.
