Your site is very well. Finally a help for te macusers.

But ow only one question. Now with the 4.03 my MacPPC runs very good. Do you think, tha I must also run the updater. I am very afraid to do this, because in the previous times( before 4.03) there cae many problems after running updaters.

Hi, All
after seven months full of problems, I can now go to every location .  No more lags in ojaroad2 and bdroad 2.
I have testet all, except the dungeons, this I do tonight.
To come in the arena you must put your char near the portal, and no look to the "wrong" picture, and then click in the ground near the portal, and click enter. For me today it has worked.
Now the lfe in Yliakum has become very good.

Once more:
Many, many thanks to the Mac Devs, and : " Please, please, don´t change anymore this good running game for the MacPPC.

I use a Mac PPC G4, 10.4.11 2 GB RAM, ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256MB.

Hi, all MacPPCusers

Just in this time installed the new version, and tried out the first Thing: Going from Bdrd1 to bdrd2:

FINALLY IT WORKS - Happyness for us.

Also the laggy situation in bdrd2 is gone away.

Thank you to all Devs who have made this bugs away.

I will try out also the other things where were the bugs ( Arena, dungeons, magic shop) and then tell here my experience.

its so how I said, this unfortunately updater no works.
I have run it, and nothing has changed . When I try to open the client, it comes with 4.02.

Please dont sent me links with topics how to makeit in console. I dont know to work with console.

( I hope when i have made all the work with a new install that the client runs finally good on my mac. 7 months suffering in PS is enough.

I now download the new version 4.03. Can I do so, because I am afraid to use the updater with my MacPPC. There were always problems.

Hello, Bakin,

what I have found out is:

The Bug with the message "load region failed is only in the tunnel between Bdrd1 and bdrd2.  It comes also when I want go from bdrd2 to bdrd1. So I have had to ask a GM for teleporting me to bdrd1.

Have I understood your post good? Do you have a possibility to make away this bug?

Remember I use a Mac PPC G4 with 2 GB of RAM and a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro Graficcard with 256 MB.

I am German and cannto understand all what you have written in your post.

very unhappy I must write this:

The portal in the arenatunnel for me and my MacPPC G4 doesn`t work. It has worked one time only. Yet three times I have must ask a GM that he move me to Hydlaa back.

So, what is it. That since 7 months nothing has been done for the MacPPC users.

today my new experiences :

The way from bdrd1 to bdrd2 is yet bad for me there is no signpost Portal and th loading region failed comes again. Without help from GMs is nothing to do.

 Hi, all PPC Users.
I do how I sayed, I write my results of the tests. Today I have testet to go in the arena. After I have read the news about the signposts, who are called portals. And I can go now in the arena, after seven months finally.
The next thing what I try is going to bdroad2. And also I will write my results.

For now I can live with the laggy situation, important is to go everywhere in Yliakum, so I can continue my quests.

But the great hope always is, that will come the day, when Planeshift is playable with less problems.

Hello,

today finally after a while without PS, I testet it to get into bdroad2 Not possible for me, also after more than ten times reloading. Always my char is at the end of the first road.

These MacPPC Problems now are since 7 months. and it makes to loose the patience and the fun to play Planeshift.

HI,
After I have changed the maps, I now test where I can go . Ojard1 is good, ojard2 is laggy, there I was killed from a ulbernaut. Now I stay in the DR. and cannot move. after loading the game, and when I want to go the game freezes.
So now I make a petion to the GMs that they put my char in Ojaveda.

All my results I will write here also for the other MacPPC users.

many thanks for this hint.

I have done it - changed all the maps, which were new. So  for now I can go to all regions, except the arena, bdrd2 and Bronze Doors and for come out of Dungeons I kill me. Now I can play a little more than the last 5 weeks.

I hope that in this Life the macPPC Dev will have the time to fix all these horrible bugs in PS. ( Now I wait already 5 months - since the version 4.01 )

Hello,
every day I look here in the forum for news with the MacPPC problem. Now I read this about the old maps.
Please tell me where and how I get this "old" maps, and how I must install them in the 4.02 client.
For me in this time the life in Yliakum is horrible. I can only stay in Hydlaa Plaza, nothing others, always failed region load. I have all done in the updaterxml, and the other things, what is relevant for mac.

Hi,

can we - MacPPC users hope, that the MacDev takes the time during the "Offtime" of PS and fix all these horrible bugs, which are in the new version for the MacPPC ( failed loading Region, out of bounds, etc).

So that we can play the game and go to all areas of Yliakum on the day, when the server will awake from its long sleep.( When will come this Day???)

thank you for your friendly explanation.

But now I have had the third "Freeze" within this short time I have installed the updating. It´s got more horrible. From version to version more horrible. Why? This is this what I cannot understand. A thing what has gone good, became so horrible.

I only stand and fight with a npc and then freezes the client with all the computer.

I begin to think, if it will be a danger for my other programms.
