So, the quality of the stock does not have an effect because it will be randomly changed during the crafting process? That does not make sense to me. Then why do the advanced crafters pay a higher price for higher quality steel stock? It must have some effect.

In addition, the quality of the steel stock did not seem to make a difference in the blade/handle creation.  ??? Why?

I have a question regarding the final quality of a sword in the swordmaking process. I am at Level Blacksmith=4, Swordmaking=3, and I recently created a sabre. Throughout the crafting process the quality of the item kept fluctuating inconsistantly (up,down,down,up,etc). At the final stage, I combined a Q76 sword handle with a Q72 sword blade, on the table it became a Q76 Sword kit. After the kit became a sword the final quality was Q61 ???. Why did it go from a Q76 kit on the table to a Q61 sword? Thank you in advance, and any other crafting information that might help the newbie crafter would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I lost items from furnace during server crash. This thread identifies the problem as fixed, is it? The server crashed while item was in the furnace, upon reboot, I spawned far from the furnace, when I got there item was gone   :o. If problem was fixed, what could have happened? Thanks in advance.

Hi, The Crystal skill has not been appearing on the magic tab on my skills list for the last 3 or 4 days now. It is also not listed for trainers of that skill (so training is unavailable). This is not just happening to me but to another player I talked to. I also notice this problem to be more prevelant under the factions tab which is frequently incomplete (but far less important). Are the right people aware of this problem and is it being worked on? Thank you in advance.

Hi, I bumped this message because it was pretty old and I am wondering if it is still accurate for the current version of PS. I am currently having the problem "the sky is sometimes disappearing, giving a strange graphical effect, like blurred." constantly in outdoor areas. Has this still a current problem with the game or is it something on my system (Geforce FX5200, Win98, 512ram). I have tried numorous seting variations in PSsetup but is there any other setting changes (possibly GLdrivers.xml as an example) that I could try to remedy. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi, quick question, on your laanx.fragnetics.com server status page the time is listed as SGT. What exactly is SGT and where is the server located. Thank you in advance.

Hi, the server sent a notice that it will be going down for reboot in 5 minutes. Afrer the reboot my broadswords were 25 lbs each. I assume that this is just a temporary glitch, has anyone else notice this problem? Thank you.

The SVN log says:

"Xordan fixed bug #2116: Natural Armour is now applied as a bonus to normal armour instead of being a set of armour worn in its own right and replaced when equipping other armour."

However, if we then look at bug 2116, we find this:

"By Xordan: Now it should pick the highest value of armour quality, either equipped armour or natural armour."

Perhaps Xordan can comment on how it was changed? In the case of the Kran, counting their natural armour is a bonus seems to make more sense than completely ignoring it when high quality armour is equipped.



OK, we are making some progress on my questions. But, which one of the statements in the above quote is the actually true? Does the worn armor "Add to" or "Replace" natural armor values. Xordon, if you hear me, could you please clarify. Thank you for your responses.Xordon

Hi, on the left side of the inventory screen displays the Trias and weight and capacity in the following format:

       Trias 545
       Weight 33.60/145
       Capacit
       49.00  0

I would assume the 33.60 is the current weight of inventory carried.
The 145 is the maximum capacity of the character.

But what is the 49.0 and the 0 below it? Those numbers keep fluctuating for me and the user guide does not describe them. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I read that in version 0.3.020 of PS there has been a change that the armor worn is added to the natural armor of the character. Is this also true for the kran? If not, how can I tell if the natural armor is better/worse than the armor that is equiped?  If so, can a kran wear all the armor pieces that any other chacter can? Thank you in advance.
