Not one person in this community will have the same opinion about the game, but most will tell you it is different from other online games. We like to roleplay in this community. If you are thinking about giving planeshift a chance I would recommend taking the time to read some of the stickies in the forums. You will have questions and this is the best place to find answers. Please keep in mind this game is nothing like WOW, comparing it would be a huge mistake. Welcome to planeshift and I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Is the game as "fun" as WoW??
ive been playing WoW for a while now, but its expensive!!! is this the free maybe better alternative?
