Linux Specific Issues / updaterinfo.xml inactive

when I run ./psupdater I get the following message printed:

PlaneShift Updater Version 5 for linux32.

Checking for updates:
This updaterinfo.xml file is marked as inactive and will not work. Please get another one.

Updater finished, press enter to exit.

how can I get another one?

Hi The game just crashes after playing 10 seconds... I'm using Kubuntu 8.04 with an Intel 945 GM on a Dell Inspiron 6400 Laptop... Here is the error log:

I fixed the white box problem by changing in ../data/config/r3dopengl.cfg

in the ; disable the use of certain opengl extentions

delete the ; in front of Video.OpenGL.UseExtension.GL_ARB_texture_compression  = false

sorry don't know how to insert this nice code boxes in the message.

Hey...

after update: When i log in to planeshift, in the choose character window... i can only see the beard of my char, the rest is black around it. when i choose to enter Yliakum, on loading page when loading GUI, the loading page will got stuck on the screen, and the only thing thats loaded are the chat, the menubar and the health and mana stuff.. on the background i see the loading page. I can move and all stuff but i can t see anything what can i do about this?
