Collaborative Stories / Save Him? Why?
« on: February 28, 2002, 07:38:57 am »
I do see a reason to have to save the Father. Since He is safe here in the Sanctum surrounded and protected by the Brotherhood. But... had the Father actually been away from the Sanctum and had delived the message in person, ye would have found killing him with a puny little piece of dull metal that ye call a knife, much harder than you think....besides....the Father would never be alone long enough for some the like of ye to get within 10 feet of him.  Ye should learn to keep ye eyes on the shadows....

For where there are Shadows...there am I also...

OOC: I couldn\'t help but notice that most of your posts are edited. This means one of two things....

1. You cant write things correctly the first time cause you dont care enough to do so

or....

2.  You are trying to cover your A**.

If your constant editing is due to the first reason then I would suggest you take more time while you are posting to do some editing...like say maybe previewing the post before you send it.

If it is for the other reason... then you should watch out or someone will quote you before you have a chance to edit your post and make you really look like a fool.

Just a bit a friendly advice.

Back to being in character----

Ye had best be on your guard when ye be speaking to the Father like ye are. Just because we may not be around the Father all the time, doesn\'t mean we can\'t hear him.... or act on what we hear. And yes ye shall either kneel or bow before the Father ... either in this life or after!

Collaborative Stories / The Crimson Brotherhood
« on: February 16, 2002, 05:56:57 pm »
From the darkest depths of the deepest night came forth a terrible horde of brothers faithful only to Father Zaylik Deymork. Like a plauge of locust they infested the shadows of the cities of Yliakum, lurking in every dark corner, waiting on the will of the Father.

The army of the dark horde, led by Lord Darkarius Belthdor, was comprised of battle hardened veterans, each brother faithful to the Father\'s cause of bringing forth an era of darkness accross all Yliakum.

Through crimson rivers and blood soaked plains, the brothers pressed forward across the surface to find the source of the Light and destroy it. For ages untold the Father has diligently searched and has finally found it.  A place that is laughingly known as the mighty Temple of Laanx.

Led by the Father, commanded by Darkarius, the dark brotherhood fought its way through the labrynth into the layers of Yliakum searching for the temple, leaving behind them a crimson river of blood and entrails and recruiting from the survivors of the villages and clans they decimated.

And now, as the Temple of Laanx grows near, these brothers rest, gathering their strength and increasing their number, preparing for the final battle between the forces of Light and Darkness. Beware all you who come accross their path. For there are only two choices....Kneel or Bow before the father!

Beware! They are The Crimson Brotherhood!

The silence permeated the area as heavily armored footsteps echoed from the distant shadows. Darkness seemed to slither closer while the vauge outline of a terrible warrior slowly came into view.  As the covering darkness faded into the background, there stood a dark warrior, blood still dripping from the spikes at the base of his battle axe. The terrible glory of his visage could be felt by all those around him announcing his presence in this miserable land.  Moving forward with the speed and grace of a Mauthe, the dark warrior approached the Father.

\"Father Zaylik, I, Darkarius Belthdor, Commander of your Army, hath recieved your summons. Your dark Army awaits your will on the surface. \"

Slowly removing his horned great helm and  revealing a sight too terrible for the eye of any race to perceive, the dark warrior bowed before the Father awaiting His will.

The Darkness comes and the Father\'s army can not be defeated by those who seek the light. For the light can not exist without the Darkness but the Darkness is eternal.  The Father\'s will shall be done throughout this wretched land and I, Darkarius shall be the enforcement of His will.  You shall either kneel or bow!! For the Father commands it.
