Technical Help: IN GAME bugs (after loading world) / Am I missing something here?

When I enter the world, the graphics have no detail, and there doesn't seem to be an option to change them.

Nvidia 570 Slit-A SLI
Core 2 Duo 6400
2GB Ram
8800GT (newest drivers)
XP SP2
