Linux Specific Issues / Indirect Rendering

I am running Ubuntu, latest version. I installed PlaneShift. So far so good.

When I run it says something about indirect rendering and the game is very very choppy. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

I started this account on the PC, gave up. Thought I would give it a fair play on my Mac. I log in and am created by the link below..

I am all for a bug here and there but being stuck below the ground? 50 unstick's later and I am still where I started. I have tried to run the updater but that runs out of mirrors and crashes.

I am running Leopard.

I just got this game, I want to create a name which begins with "Dave" or "David" yet the first name is in use... Surely the thing you should be checking for is whether the full name or surname is in use. There can be more than one Dave, David, Jack or Jill you know...   :thumbdown:
