Yea, they do put alot of hard work into it etc, but playing it just isn\'t fun anymore......(Can\'t do this, Can\'t do that, when you are in serious trouble it lags horribly)
It has alot of issues, but the worst of those issues were the new *features* they added themselves.

If the server software becomes more efficient (and the client too), you will be able to cram more ppl on 1 server. just saves time and money.

I used to play Runescape a lot, but there are 2 reasons why i went looking for other mmorpgs
1. I want something 3D like PS
2. They put so many restrictions on it, it was hard to get anywhere in the game.

well i have only played it for a very brief period of time, but in that time i did play it, there was no lag. Just a bit choppy from the inefficiency of the game.
Also you have to remember that the game is in ALPHA stage. And nobody should use an alpha version as if it was the final product.
But i\'m excited to see the final version! Imagine, no lag, efficient, quests to go on, items to collect..................

My PC specs:
384MB RAM (PC133)
866MHz PIII
16MB ATI Rage 128
Win XP Pro
I ran Planeshift and it used 216MB RAM!!!!! 8o ?(
I ran it in safemode too.
My friend had this problem too when he told me about planeshift.
He\'s running a
PIII 1GHz,
256MB RAM,
32MB nVidia geforce 3,
Win ME,
And he was not using safemode.
384MB RAM (PC133)
