Hello, I installed the last version of Planeshift (after a long abence) and i have the same problem with those effects.
I tried to rename flame.spr into flame.part . There I have a problem : the file is named flame.DDS, not .spr...

Then I told myself "nevermind, let's rename it flame.part". I did. It doesn't work so far...
And the updater has nothing to download.

Can you help folks ?
